To be honest I really wish their was more animes and shows in this style where it's animals and such as the main characters. It's really hard to find shows similair to GDW or GNG. Also I know there is another generation in this series that is in the comic. thanks to Vampire BondN I remember the dogs name, Orion and he is the son of weed. Currently waiting for them to animate that one.
I somewaht hope they'll do an "Orion" anime and have learned of their mistakes in "weed". I like Silver as a character yet get annoyed at weed, Riki however is the greatest lead of his family imo. Orion could be a fresh twist since unlike the previous main characters he's a bit of a jerk. As for the 10 years later part, the only thing that makes some sense with making such a big jump is for Daisuke to be a grown up. 4 years would have been a much wiser decission which would have placed gin in peak condition.
Pretty much the hot-tempered red boye who nearly disowned his older brother for constant conflicts about having such sympathetic views towards the bears.
Well, sort of. I naturally didn't want to spoil Hougen's backstory completely. There IS a reason he is the way he is. Wether or not it justifies the level his depravity goes to is another debate entirely.
In the manga it's even more horrible but thats how you make great villains. Intelligence, pride, strategy thats how you make Hougen is one of my favorite villain. Also anime ending bullshit read manga much more satisfaction.
It's likely that Weed learned to be pacifist-like character because he was raised by his mother, as opposed to how his father Gin was raised. To me, I think he was kind of annoying with his "Killing is Wrong" morals, but I guess that's what sets him apart from his father, I suppose. Honestly, I do think the animation in WEED is kinda lacking sometimes and there was a time where Weed was angry with Jerome and said "Get out." He had this derp-eyed facial expression that you'd probably not take him so seriously. XD And I seriously do not remember ever watching Hougen's entrance, honestly. XD
That Crazy Fuzzball I was gonna comment on the derpy animation in places, but the video was already running long and i figured commenting on the narrative was nore important. I actually totally forgot to consider his mother's influence - but that's because the poor gal is basically a footnote in this show.
agree with that weed could be little annoying with his morals stuff like how he kicked out jerome for just helping the group.. that the thing i hated most of this show
Fiction Addiction Its not in dog years. Daisuke is ower 20 years old and soviet union has fallen... wich leads in rather messy assault on Hokkaidõ wich is controlled by Hakurõ...but im getting ahead of myself. you shud read the manga for it has ALLOT more content and many dogs get ALLOT more time focused on them (Allso Gin...."silver" and Weed get litle more father and son development wich was next to none in the anime) If you want to chat about Ginga hit me up, after re visiting the original GNG i did so much research on the topic its not even funny.
No it is really 14 years later Dogs here have a lifespan up from 15-30 Cross is 22 at this point, Gin was 14-15 (in the ginga the last wars, Gin was 16 and was developing cataracts in his eyes and was going blind but eventually was given eyedrops by the humans and daisuke where hiro died protecting Gin via drowning, some fishers identified gin and called daisuke, Daisuke cried as he thought his best friend died but he heard a heart beat, Gin was later put in a hospital and is grandchildren visited him in his room TL:DR Gin was old)
This anime was a ‘meh’ for me, it was really nice to see the characters from GNG again, but, they kinda lost their touch. I personally believe 14 years is a gigantic time skip and it would be more suiting if it was less severe. Let’s talk about the characters. Gin, this guy, he’s my fav in the entire Ginga Series. Sometimes he can be a Gary Stu is GNG, but I personally haven’t seen it myself and I love his character. He doesn’t go overboard with the ‘don’t kill!’ Thing but still has mercy for those he absolutely deserve it. In GDW, he kinda just became this....old weak dog, “oh no, I can’t get up.” Where was the energy that Gin once had in GNG? I understand that there was a time skip, but his character and personality twisted around too much just so the plot would work. Next, Smith. Smith, another one of my favorite characters, he just doesn’t seem as charming or appeasing as a character as he once was in GNG. I feel like most of the GNG characters were toned down a bit, so the new characters in GDW could pop out and be more like able, but really, I believe it made it worse. GNG is really the only reason why I watched GDW because I wanted to revisit my child hood characters, and I was slightly disappointed. The plot was amazing! For starters. The animation, not as satisfied with it. GNG had good quality animation considering the time frame it was made in, GDW, however, I personally find the animation wonky and often the lip sync is laughable. Now, I’ll talk about the GDW characters. Ah, Weed, of course we will start with him. First of all, the origin of his name is pretty cool, I just wish it was less....misleading. When people hear ‘Ginga Densetsu Weed’ they often think of the drug. And then Weeds personality, he’s not a Gary Stu like Gin, which I can appreciate, but his little, “dont kill!” Thing really goes overboard to the point where it’s slightly annoying. I, myself like his “don’t kill” idea, but this character just takes it too far. Then Hougen. Great villain, cool backstory and such, but he just popped out of nowhere. We are a few episodes into the series with the Monster Arc and he just comes out of nowhere like, “yo, I exist.” Here’s what the story is like, Gin:stop bullying Nero: no Nero: gets beat up, goes to this random Great Dane who apparently has a large army that we haven’t even heard of Hougen: Guess I’ll go beat up Gin and take over Ohu (Sorry if this is inaccurateit’s been a while since I’ve watched this series.) So, I wish it had mire of a buildup instead of this sudden antagonist. Time to go with the plot. I love the plot, it’s pretty cool and isn’t the most predictable, which is nice. Again, I just wish that Hougen didn’t pop out of nowhere. And then another thing, yes, I know it’s an anime, but really, blue fidget spinner dogs? Cool! but....really? Gin only really used the Battouga once in the GNG anime so it didn’t go too crazy with the attack. Then in the GDW anime, after weed figured out the Battouga. Half of the battles he’s in from there. “zEsTu TenRo bAtTogAaaaaAAaaAAaA!” It would be better to have more variety instead of unleashing the Battouga 24/7 in my opinion. After this, character designs. Again, I wish the designs were more believable. In the GNG anime, the designs were more realistic, like...Gin was blue, John actually looked like a German Shepard and such. And in the further anime and mangas, ‘blue dogs!’ ‘Wait! What breed of dog is this?’ The designs would be more appealing if they were less unrealistic and odd. A few things left I’d like to talk about, the dogs. How many scenes are in GDW where the dogs actually act like them? The howling? The barking? A few? I wish there were more, in GNG, the beautiful howling gave it a nice touch and it would of been nice to see that in GDW. But if I were to look positively on this anime, I would say that it had amazing voice actors, they really portrayed the emotions well! Keep it up! And then the plot is really awesome! It wasn’t slow and it kept a fun, exciting story to it,! Thanks for listening to my review and have a good day or night! ^^
I personally LOVED the series. Weed is my favorite because I love the storyline and the action. It is my favorite anime series. I wish there were more. I watched weed first before the silver fang series,(because I found weed first before silver fang) so after I finished watching weed and went to watch silver fang and everything became so clear on the storyline. I REALLY WISH THEY WOULD MAKE MORE ANIME SERIES LIKE THIS.
The manga mentions that the lab worked with the effects of concentrated nuclear radiation, among other things but it was not stated that kaibutsu had been exposed to radiation Also in Last Wars the dogs are around 30 years, i don't remember the Weed being Gins son being to overplayed in the manga
Thats actually how many weed's kids are, 3 boys and 1 girl Tldr at the end :) Orion the jerk but with an incredible sense of justice but has a foul mouth(he once called cross an "old hag" and runs away laughing)(red fur like riki), Sirius the brains, he looks exactly like weed and acts exactly like weed(he doesn't like killing too) and is the only dog who learned bear language(silver fur like weed and gin), Rigel the somewhat half main character half side character, had a foul mouth like orion had and would tease their little sister sometimes but changed when he met his mentor/sensei and is a good fighting dog now(black fur) Last but not the least Bella/Bellatrix the crybaby, she eventually became an ohu soldier and fights for ohu too after running away from her adoptive family who named her "chiko" because she missed her family TL:DR Orion the jerk, Sirius the brains, Rigel,Bella the crybaby
Finally! I've been waiting for your review of GDW ever since I watched your GNG review! After watching the video I have to say that I pretty much agree with your review completely! It was spot on and exactly how I feel about GDW, both in relation to GNG and on its own
I loved both of these series'.. You should also read the comics or Manga in your spare time. :) Also I know how to sing the into song in Japanese for GDW. :'D
This is a very nostalgic anime for me. I discovered it by random back in middle school when all of the episodes were on UA-cam and I just binge-watched the whole thing. Because of that, I personally prefer Weed to the original. But both are still good series and this one was a blast to watch. I always enjoy revisiting it every now and then. And you ended this review perfectly. XD 6:52 As someone who has worked in the Pet Hotel at Petsmart for nearly four years, I know all too well about how keen dogs are about eating shit. -_-
I'm more of a silver fan then Weed fan. Weed is to much of a Boy Scout. He annoys me so much. He keeps failing the spinning attack on hogan. And then at the end he suddenly don't want Hogan death because it's wrong (if I can't kill him no one can't) I don't really believe in Hogan as a villain. Not against silver and his gang anyway. There is no way silver and the other dogs couldn't take Hogan down. No matter how evil he is. He's just a dog. And they killed the monster bear akakabutu.
I assume that you mean ''Chōrō''/The koga elder? :P Yeah, that's starting to be a bit high number for a dog! xD Though ironically, I think he actually died in that manga....Internet isn't always right though, so don't quote me on that! xP
Ok I am watches these series I love watching series about animals ripping each other apart because action. I more of a shoot'em up action guy but still action is action and i love any kind of action.
Man, the manga for GDW is so much better. Things are fleshed out more, and there's so much more interesting and 'holy-shit' moments. Like Sniper for example, and his little arc he gets. Sooooooooo much stuff was cut out or changed in the anime, it's pretty dissapointing tbh . . . But I think some of that had to do with copyright stuff, since two different companies own the rights to different amounts of stuff related to the Ginga series 🤔 Regardless, I wanna see another anime be made that follows Weed's kids. That'd be sick :) Because from what I've read of GDW:O so far, (the first 3 chapters) Orion is a bit of a shit-starter Lol
ItzAimanMCPE a bit before this episode was made, someone altered the real life Hollywood sign to say Hollyweed. I just decided to make a joke out of it
Wait, you said Ben is blind, but he clearly saw Kage's tiger stripes from a distance, he even calls them out that he 'had no son with those' before Ken corrects him that "THAT'S KAGE!" ending it with that "Huh?!" As hilarious as that scene is, doesn't it prove he can see, but is rather just a giant doofus? I mean, he can obviously recognise a dog with tiger stripes, just thinks for some reason it's his son.
darklord884 I may be wrong, but I believe in the original Gin manga, he regained his sight some time after the Akakbuto arc. As far as the anime goes though, last time we saw him, he was fully blind.
+Fiction Addiction Hmmm, that may be so, but still, blind or not blind, he still mistakes Kage for Ken, despite Ken standing right beside him and calling out to him, which he even notices, so...still a doofus. A badass doofus, but still kind of a doofus. :D
+Fiction Addiction Yeah, sorry, I phrased it wrong, my point was mainly about him being more of a dummy than blind, but thanks for the info anywaysm it's pretty interesting. Wait, that means he was blinded during the Akakabuto ark? I thought it was a sign of how he's old.
In the Ninja Dog arc of the first show, the whole group is poisoned, but Ben refuses to take any medicine before everyone else has gotten some, which results in him going blind since he gets it too late.
I have a feeling some of the subtitles were a minor/loose translation error because I read the manga recently then just finished rewatching the anime last month and I noticed the changes and details. Like the manga said 10 years had passed rather than 14 which was a but of a surprise to me. But if they did make the change on purpose I'd rather it have been a little bit less time rather than a bit more. But that's just me personally. Also I can see your point being that there should be more realism for this anime but honestly I find it awesome & hilarious how some of the characters can be so dramatic & border line over powered. The mind's eye thing I didn't mind a that much for Bat because honestly something like that is semi-possible for even a human who's completely blind, granted definitely not to the extent of Bat that's definitely some fantasy at play but a more minor version of it could very well be plausible. I mean hey you loose one sense your others get heightened, sometimes even to some seemingly ridiculous extremes. But regardless something like Bat's mind's eye isn't all that impossible. And regarding Kaibutsu, he was most likely built to be an assassin dog like Kite but more along the lines of an ultimate weapon, think of Kaibutsu being the size of the Indo Rex but with the same killing power and intentions as the Indo Raptor from both Jurrasic world movies. And Kite was probably a small and successful attempt at something like that, kind of like MewTwo from the first pokemon movie but a bit less extreme & over powered. Besides these are all anthropomorphic canines you're free to go a little bit buck wild when it comes to anthro characters especially with age ranges. But the realistic designs and colors can be a bit off putting and confusing to some who don't understand the fantasy of it all but I definitely do see where the original intent was on both the crators' and your sides. But idk maybe I'm wrong and they should've stick to strictly realism like with TLK or something similar. But personally I enjoyed the minor fantasy aspects of the show! It made it more entertaining & watchable for me. Although yes balancing was a major issue and so was the writing I'm definitely not going to argue with that. But besides all that I thoroughly enjoyed the anime and will defend it because it was one I enjoyed even with its blaring flaws.
I should probably not look at anymore comments of this show until the end, because of Spoilers (of course) and having opinions of what happens and that was the right thing to do. That always stress me when opinions are thrown in rather forcefully...
Ken's brother and sister doesnt appear in the anime but they do in the manga. However, his sister drowned while ken's brother george was taking a nap...
Fiction Addiction Ah, thought so, noticed your slight accent. I'm a Finn myself, grew up watching this series. Regardless, keep up the good work, your videos are awesome :D
I would rank it up to how well the creator's story telling technique got. He stands out from most manga writers mainly because p he is a product of his time. So he does not have that cliché anime tropes in his work.
I liked the protagonist a little bit more but I love both Akakabuto and Hougen equally- they are both really great villians and not some generic bad guy that wants to take over the world just because so they are really well written ^^
Some people actually compare Weed to Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender, but say that Weed is the one who is hated and not Aang when they are "so alike." I think what sets the two apart is how, unlike Aang, Weed is more of a pacifist who would be more likely to shove the "Killing is Wrong" moral down your throat.
There's also the fact that Aang never banished one of his friends from his group the way Weed did to Jerome. I think that's the main reason people hate Weed.
An anime about japanese wild dogs mauling each other was compared to a kids cartoon with chinese like origins and anime style and has no relation or comparisons to the dog anime whatsoever. Who tf was comparing these 2?
@@soloragoldsun2163 weed was stressed at the time and is shocked as being a kid who hated when people around him die He expierienced pain(emotional) his whole life, he was separated from his 2 brothers joe and yukimura when he was 3 months old and later watched his older brother yukimura die in front of him and hearing that Joe was drowned while saving orion, his mother Sakura died in front of him, Blue died after saving him, Smith died fighting kaibutsu while he can't do anything but watch, Gin's stunt double Tokimune(looks exactly like Gin) died protecting Weed from kaibutsu and blames himself for being unable to do anythinh, Gin's ally The legendary John died in front of him and blamed himself for being too late, Lector and Thunder was killed while pleading for help and apologizing so he Banished Jerome, Jerome(in the anime) GB was killed by a bear while protecting weed, and lastly Weed's son that looks like him and has the same personality and is not a jerk like Orion and is the only one dog who can speak and understand bear language died infront of weed while fighting a bear. List of dogs who died infront of weed: Sakura(Mom), Joe(brother), yukimura(brother), Smith, Blue, Tokimune(Gin's double), John(Gin's right hand), Jerome, GB(Weed's Godfather), Sirius(Weed's eldest son who looks exactly like him and hates killing too) Oops too many spoilers

Vampire BondN yep ill edite that in. im gonna have to search for that comic. Hopefully i can find it in english.
In Finland we have a new GDWO comic a month
I could never find the manga
completely agree.
Surprised there isn't an isakai where someone or a dog is transported to a fantasy world as a dog or some magical pet.
the badass battle where the dog died frozen standing up
that was Toube
I somewaht hope they'll do an "Orion" anime and have learned of their mistakes in "weed".

Let just say japanese haven't forgotten pow systym from last time.
The Irish wolfhound is worse. I loved Silver Fang, but I don`t know if I wan`t to watch Weed just because of that.
Everything has a reason
Weed's "don't kill ever!!!!" is what got on my nerves the most.
#JeromeDidNothingWrong
Mary Moore i remember hating jerome as kid for killing the dopermans
"Don't kill the assassins that plan on killing more people because killing is selfish!"
I hope they make animes about GDW: ORION and GINGA: THE LAST WARS
It's likely that Weed learned to be pacifist-like character because he was raised by his mother, as opposed to how his father Gin was raised. Thanks for reviewing gng and gdw. Silver fang was part of my childhood growing up so I'm just happy to see someone review it and talk about it!
what if that 14 years is in dog years?
I'm amazed that I always find more of your content to enjoy every day.
My favorite scene is still GB and the other dogs, running around, pretending to be dog packs from different places
This anime was a ‘meh’ for me, it was really nice to see the characters from GNG again, but, they kinda lost their touch. 3:36 the scent shook the very soul of Gin
I love your review of GDW I have been a fan of it since 2006 and I just love your honesty
I personally LOVED the series. Weed is my favorite because I love the storyline and the action. It is my favorite anime series. I wish there were more.

Also in Last Wars the dogs are around 30 years, i don't remember the Weed being Gins son being to overplayed in the manga
i'm late as all hell but like, the ginga mangas throw dogs ageing logically out of the window; and that's included in the anime
What's next is weed gonna name his son crack, meth, cocain, sunstrider?
Thats actually how many weed's kids are, 3 boys and 1 girl
Tldr at the end :)
Orion the jerk but with an incredible sense of justice but has a foul mouth(he once called cross an "old hag" and runs away laughing)(red fur like riki), Sirius the brains, he looks exactly like weed and acts exactly like weed(he doesn't like killing too) and is the only dog who learned bear language(silver fur like weed and gin), Rigel the somewhat half main character half side character, had a foul mouth like orion had and would tease their little sister sometimes but changed when he met his mentor/sensei and is a good fighting dog now(black fur)
Last but not the least Bella/Bellatrix the crybaby, she eventually became an ohu soldier and fights for ohu too after running away from her adoptive family who named her "chiko" because she missed her family
TL:DR Orion the jerk, Sirius the brains, Rigel,Bella the crybaby
I think Bat's minds eye is just him using his trained mind and senses to imagine the world around him
Will they be making another anime about Weed's son, Orion? Really would love to see it!
I loved this and the Silver Fang review too! Your content is really well edited and damn funny too. You've earned a new sub
Omg yes!!! I've been waiting for this!
Finally! I've been waiting for your review of GDW ever since I watched your GNG review!
After watching the video I have to say that I pretty much agree with your review completely! It was spot on and exactly how I feel about GDW, both in relation to GNG and on its own
I feel exactly the same!
Time to start the day off with some Weed.
what you know weed, you should make a review abouth gin or weed
Finally someone reviews this series
My dog is 22 and well.
That would put your dog in the top 20 of oldest dogs in the world (whose age has been verified). In other words, it's exceedingly rare.
Weed - Legend of the good boy
I loved both of these series'.. You should also read the comics or Manga in your spare time. :)
Also I know how to sing the into song in Japanese for GDW. :'D
Weed is the only anime I've ever dropped without finishing it. And I've probably watched a hundred at this point.

There is no way silver and the other dogs couldn't take Hogan down. No matter how evil he is. He's just a dog. And they killed the monster bear akakabutu.
its hard for me too choose which one is best
I love the ending man! I swear I laugh every time lmao
Lol, complaining about Ben still being alive. Would it please you to know that he at least died of old age in the Manga? xD
Also that one ninja dog is 31 YEARS OLD in Ginga: Last Wars
I assume that you mean ''Chōrō''/The koga elder? :P Yeah, that's starting to be a bit high number for a dog! xD Though ironically, I think he actually died in that manga....Internet isn't always right though, so don't quote me on that! xP
He did die. He died not long ago in The Last Wars. Canonically he was 30 years old.
Meanwhile Kurotora is still alive and he is same age as Ben lol
Guys, there's a mutated monster dog with as thick skin as kevlar. Kaibutsu.
Let's not stick to too much of realism 😁
I know that you can buy Silver Fang in Denmark cause' I'm danish but I still don't know where to get Silver Fang weed
Silver fang reminds me of Attack on titan but with dogs and with out gaint nude people.

Ok I am watches these series I love watching series about animals ripping each other apart because action. I more of a shoot'em up action guy but still action is action and i love any kind of action.
There's no link in the description.
Man, the manga for GDW is so much better. Things are fleshed out more, and there's so much more interesting and 'holy-shit' moments.
Like Sniper for example, and his little arc he gets.
Sooooooooo much stuff was cut out or changed in the anime, it's pretty dissapointing tbh . . .
But I think some of that had to do with copyright stuff, since two different companies own the rights to different amounts of stuff related to the Ginga series 🤔
Regardless, I wanna see another anime be made that follows Weed's kids. That'd be sick :)
Because from what I've read of GDW:O so far, (the first 3 chapters) Orion is a bit of a shit-starter
Lol
Do Wolfs Rain!!!!!!
Did you get the danish Version where get one to
Where can I buy the DvD set for this anime?? I can't find it anywhere on the Internet. You can't even find it on amazon
Holly weed is that missing name of the real name Hollywood?
ItzAimanMCPE a bit before this episode was made, someone altered the real life Hollywood sign to say Hollyweed. I just decided to make a joke out of it
Fiction Addiction i just wonna ask you something, what the heck every not good word just have been said in that cartoon/anime
Nice video. easy to hear that you,re danish ;)
Does anyone know where i can buy these? there are always some volumes missing and it's pissing me off
Wait, you said Ben is blind, but he clearly saw Kage's tiger stripes from a distance, he even calls them out that he 'had no son with those' before Ken corrects him that "THAT'S KAGE!" ending it with that "Huh?!" As hilarious as that scene is, doesn't it prove he can see, but is rather just a giant doofus?
3 years late but he's not entirely blind
His eyes are just irreversibly blurry

This is a very interesting series! It's cool that this anime is nostalgic to you compared to where I live. I might watch it fully now.
My schabrador got 17 before he died
WEED, WEED EVERYWHERE!! :)
my favorite anime intro song :D :D :D
You should make copies of your english sub of GNG. Even though i have the sub on dvd,the sub is really bad lol.
Umbreon Girl i only subbed these scenes foe the sake of the video, ot the whole series.
Fiction Addiction omg! You replyed! Im honored! Lol. Darn okay. They were good though.
Gee i didn't know silver smashed my dog.
I should probably not look at anymore comments of this show until the end, because of Spoilers (of course) and having opinions of what happens and that was the right thing to do. That always stress me when opinions are thrown in rather forcefully...
The entire Ginga series looks great, but I'm of the type that can't stand to see _any_ realistic looking animal get hurt.
But what happened to Kens brothers and sisters O_O
Okay i haven't read the manga yet so i didin't know im sorry
THAT BROTHER IS GETTING SUGERY
Ken's brother and sister doesnt appear in the anime but they do in the manga. However, his sister drowned while ken's brother george was taking a nap...
Your videos are awesome, you just deserved another subscriber :3
Btw, a question out of pure curiosity, are you Scandinavian yourself?
Johnny Wolverine as Danish as our pastries.
Fiction Addiction Ah, thought so, noticed your slight accent. I'm a Finn myself, grew up watching this series.
Regardless, keep up the good work, your videos are awesome :D
Thank you.
Fiction Addiction No, thank *You*.
Smoke Weed everyday !
I would rank it up to how well the creator's story telling technique got. He stands out from most manga writers mainly because p he is a product of his time. So he does not have that cliché anime tropes in his work.
Is There any simmular anime like silver fang out there ? Please answer.
👏👏👏
You should read Weed manga, it is way better and not as much of a repeat on Silver Fang.
KILLING IS NOT JUSTICE
new weed episodes cartoon
I must be honest and say i like the original better but gdw is still awesome.
Luna corn same
I liked the protagonist a little bit more but I love both Akakabuto and Hougen equally- they are both really great villians and not some generic bad guy that wants to take over the world just because so they are really well written ^^
@@soloragoldsun2163 weed was stressed at the time and is shocked as being a kid who hated when people around him die
He expierienced pain(emotional) his whole life, he was separated from his 2 brothers joe and yukimura when he was 3 months old and later watched his older brother yukimura die in front of him and hearing that Joe was drowned while saving orion, his mother Sakura died in front of him, Blue died after saving him, Smith died fighting kaibutsu while he can't do anything but watch, Gin's stunt double Tokimune(looks exactly like Gin) died protecting Weed from kaibutsu and blames himself for being unable to do anythinh, Gin's ally The legendary John died in front of him and blamed himself for being too late, Lector and Thunder was killed while pleading for help and apologizing so he Banished Jerome, Jerome(in the anime) GB was killed by a bear while protecting weed, and lastly Weed's son that looks like him and has the same personality and is not a jerk like Orion and is the only one dog who can speak and understand bear language died infront of weed while fighting a bear.
List of dogs who died infront of weed: Sakura(Mom), Joe(brother), yukimura(brother), Smith, Blue, Tokimune(Gin's double), John(Gin's right hand), Jerome, GB(Weed's Godfather), Sirius(Weed's eldest son who looks exactly like him and hates killing too)
Oops too many spoilers
