I love finding new people starting GAMMA playthroughs 😄 always fun seeing how people handle stressful situations. You handle it kinda like how I do. Curse loudly and run like hell 😂
Hell yeah nice! Yeah I don't do so great exactly, but I enjoy relearning a new way to tackle the zone. Makes it feel new still.

Make sure to pick up the gray face masks that sometimes drop from bandits, no matter their condition, they are great for repairs. Sometimes they can add as much as 10%.
Do not throw away the armor parts like Dura, Cloth, Mil Spec and so on, even if they are at 0% condition, these can still be used for crafting.
OH shit thanks man. I figured anything below 50 percent no matter what would be trash so as you an see I been tossing them. I'll have to spend some time to mess witht he crafting more, crafting has just never been a mechanic I have been crazy about. No clue why.
@@WTFSexyHeadphones Gamma crafting can be intimidating, easiest way to get into it is this - on any item (weapon, armor, medicine, crafting parts, ammo, repair tools like glue, etc.) you can right-click and select details. In the details, you can see all the info - what items are needed for crafting this item, which are needed for repairing, what items are needed for modification, what upgrades can be done, what items can improve your reparing and what you can craft with the item. The most important is to get the Basic tools, you can right-click them and open a work station anytime/anywhere and craft. Once you familiarize yourself with the basics, you will start to better recognize which items are good to loot and which are not and then you can move on to advanced tools and the support tools like the ones for creating medicine/ammo/artefacts.
You can sell most of weapon/armor parts (in OK condition, not like 10%) to any kind of mechanic to get a bit of money (not like you get a fortune), you can try to sell it to Xenotech on farm
Also you can find on most lvl 1 traders a headlamp, which doesn't require you to hold your flashlight - also you can buy binoculars
You can also buy few things from Loris on farm (between rail bridge and exit to Garbage), he gets most of things like Sid but he doesn't have quests
and if you want to repair your Multitool (I bet you can't right now since it is literally broken), get Three-piece sharpening stone and if you found Kerosene, you can repair your knife/Multitool easier and cheaper
I been getting rid of anything that is below 50 percent so hopefully that is okay enough or I can maybe use it for repairs to help some weapons out? I gotta figure it out a bit more haha.
I saw the headlamps, I don't wanna spend the money on it because I feel I need it so much more on other things like making sure I can get a mask and survive radiation better T_T

There are no time-sensitive missions (I think only one late game, main quest mission is on a timer, but that's the only one). The only time you can fail a mission is when an NPC dies (for example you have to deliver a package to someone and they die before you get to them, that is a fail, but if you have to for example kill someone or hunt mutants and they die, that is an automatic win for you). The one you got from Sid, which mentioned killing some mutants, just auto-resolved after you slept, meaning someone killed the mutants and you can just hand in the mission.
Regarding the radiation - The basic gasmask is extremely important, radiation is everywhere and curing it constantly is very expensive. Get some fully repaired head gear as soon as possible.
Nightime - just take some sleeping pills (you have one dose in you inventory, the white pills) and sleep until daylight. Moving and fighting during the night is unnecessary and if you survive, expensive.
If you have the money, invest in HP ammo (cheapest vendor is the hunter in the train depo in Garbage). HP ammo is extremely effective against mutants and even if it's more expensive, it comes out cheaper per-bullet. You can kill a Psuedo-dog with 3-4 well placed HP rounds, but it would take more than 10 with the normal rounds.
Oh this is good to know...unfortunately...I recorded more than this and am in the swamps in the dark XD I DO appreciate the sleeping pill advice I did not think of that! Also that time sensitive is not really an issue! VERy good to know cuz that was my driving force into the swamps. I was worried that guy was gunna die and I'd fail.

Wait...are you actually playing GAMMA or just Anomaly? If its GAMMA i think you have an old version. The more recent updates have a tab on the PDA that lets you collect quests from nearby NPC's all on one screen.
It is Gamma, I downloaded it about five months ago.
What are you doing in the night all alone young lady?! Without any torch, head-lamp or night vision? Better have a sleep at the camp and then go to Swamps in the morning, what do you think?
And you won't ever have good stamina if you are starving, thirsty or sleepy. So better have a good rest and eat and drink for good.
You can eat *cooked* mutant food, even if it gives you some radiation, just have some smoke after and you'll be fine. Always carry some cigarettes! ;)

Bleeding makes you loose lots of health, probably when the dog bit you, along with giving rabies it also gave you bleeding, which unlike real life you can stop with toilet paper, or bandages.
Edit : I realize you already knew that and forgot in the moment, but my brain usually lags and i realize things 250ms later.
All good man as you can tell I also lag in the brain so often especially in the zone! Issue is I keep being slow to notice bleeding until it does kill my health and it sucks!
