Your skills at plastic restoration are awesome!
I am excited to see you build a new workshop. A cozy space to escape the world and do what you do best.

I've been restoring Bikes for 40+ years, theres NO WAY I would re-use old Bearings inside the engine from the 1980's!!! You have it all apart, replace them now while its easy - Thats the difference between a restoration and a Re-paint

I haven’t restored a bike ever but I think you make an excellent point, should be a no brainer, right? Unless he knows something I don’t (let’s face it he knows 1000000 times more than me)

Bearings were new. No need to buy new again no?

@@MyRestoration1 that’s what I thought, looked new, but Mad-Duk thought they were old. Sorry mate

Perhaps Mad-Duk was talking about the bearing you installed at 3:36. You mentioned surface rust. But it looks old, possibly used. Either way, it stood out to me also.

I'm not sure I understood, how did those engine parts fit originally, or did they come from different sources? My first thought was bits from the 3 engines got mixed up.

Only engine no 1 was complete. The others came in bits which is why I’m finding bits missing but I knew this was the case once I started to assemble. I think I’ve got everything now 😅
