Great show once again. I love how the interviews go behind the glamour and explore the lonely days and nights, the pain, the soreness that is the journey to success. Its unique to every athlete. However the common thread is determination that builds character. Blessings to you for the format. Its educational. Special thanks to the great Dion Jennings.
I know Dion too. I use to board with the Samuel's. I attended St. Hilda's. Her sister Vivienne was my friend, i also remember her brither Phill Hemmings.
I helped to start the track program at Central State University under Josh Culbreath I was fresh off the 1988 Olympics represent jamaica in 4x100m. I remember Deon when she came to Central State 1989 and Progress. I left went to work at Michigan State University on my masters and coached as a graduate assistant track coach. I remember when she won gold in 1996. I was so proud of her.
Please do an interview with Sandie Richards, world Junior bronze medalist, world indoor champion twice, world championship silver 1997, Commonwealth Commonwealth champion and Olympic relay medalists etc 400m meters*
The truth is am being saying this for a while now she don't get the honor what she deserves Jamaica it is ashamed, this woman is the first athlete to give us the first gold medal in history i don't believe we have a statue for her to honor for that great performance
This woman need to be honor it is not too late because from she gives us the first gold medal there is no turning back for Jamaica it just getting better on better for us on the world 🌍 maps so what are we waiting for to crown her sprinting queen 👑 the two hundred meter champion 🏆 of the world 🌍
