- In this video I take a look at some pedals from one of my favourite pedals brands of the modern era, Electronic Audio Experiments. EAE manages to make amazing sounding and looking pedals that aren't just copies of the usual circuits we see from most other brands.

I own the Longsword and it has been endlessly inspiring. It is great on so many levels that sometimes I feel guilty hitting the boost.
I’ve got a Mother Preamp which is a Collab with Science Amps and EAE, best purchase I’ve ever made. I feel like I play with it DI more than I do my actual valve amps now.
The guys at EAE pedals are incredibly nice, decent people. Had some dealings with them and they’re lovely to work with. Model feT is mint by the way.
Huge EAE fanboy here. I run the Limelight into a Model feT - they stack so freakin' well together. Also have the Dagger, and I want a Citadel. No one does dirt better!
Hey great riffs in this video! EAE is seriously the best dirt out there in my opinion. It would take some seriously good stuff to kick the Longsword and Limelight off my board (I use the halberd on and off too). I have an SS/BS mini, 1981 DRV, Bondi Sick As, etc. and prefer my EAE pedals every time! Thanks for highlighting John's work so well, he really is killing it in the pedal game.

Yeah the eae dirt pedals are absolutely stunning. They venture so far outside of the typical wheelhouse. I own the longsword, model fet, halberd v2, limelight v2, dude incredible v2 and the citadel. Might nab the dagger too at some point. All of their products offer so much value, easily the most versatile dirt pedals I’ve ever owned.
I have the protein. Which of these pedals would you say would stack nicely with it?

Great sounds - I Really want a halberd - but no dealers in Thailand - any recommendations for something that’s more widely available and clangy but still low-med gain?

The problem with pedals is that many of them actually eliminate the sound of the guitar and replace it with a completely different sound. I love playing and hearing guitars but when too many pedals are involved, you might as well play a synthesizer!
Dude that Halberd+Jazzmaster tone was killer, very close to something i want. What kind of pickups are in that thing?
