  • Watch me make a Cafe Con Leche using a hand frother. I froth up Café Bustelo Instant Coffee using hot milk and an Aerolatte hand frother. I create nice, thick, frothy foam that leaves a great sensation in your mouth. The creaminess of the milk and coffee create a treat for the morning. Don't just stir up a boring cup of instant coffee. Get to frothing! If you'd like instruction on how to use a hand frother, you can check out some of my earlier videos. This is simply a great change to your old coffee drinking routine. Café Bustelo is loved by many across the world. It can be enjoyed in an espresso machine (I have a video showing this), but it can also be enjoyed in instant form when travelling or when time is of the essence. But if you have that extra 40 seconds, be sure to try it with frothed milk. Instant coffee with milk is actually more filling and nutritious. You won't be disappointed!

Yea, it's actually a really nice treat. When you froth up the Cafe Bustelo instant coffee you will discover/taste different flavors as they "hit" the tongue in a different way and with a different texture. Thank you for the positive feedback! Enjoy!

I just bought this brand. It said 1 teaspoon per 6 ounces. And it seemed very weak 🤔. I don't usually drink coffee at all especially instant. I guess the label is trying to make it seem there's more cups worth of coffee then there really is.

Yea, I think with any instant coffee, not just Cafe Bustelo, you have to adjust the amount of coffee crystals you add, to your specific liking. As you say, it's a rough guide to how many cups you'll get out of a bottle, but the starter is that most people are using at least an 8 ounce cup. Six ounces of coffee is a very small amount. Try adjusting the amount of coffee you use and see how you like it then. It may take a bit of experimenting to figure out the exact measurements, but it's certainly worth it. Enjoy!

Who doesn't like a nice head on their beer? :-) You get some great flavors in there that taste and obviously feel different in your mouth and tongue. Same thing happens when you froth your coffee. It's a nice treat!

What about "don't knock 'til you try it", "variety is the spice of life", "you deserve a treat" and "just try it, I promise you'll like it"? 🙂 No it's not in place of your typical coffee made with water (though it could replace it if you choose), but it's a different way of enjoying coffee. When you taste the coffee in a foam/froth consistency vs. pure liquid, you taste different flavors and it's a unique sensation inside your mouth. Milky coffees are a lot more popular than you'd think, particularly in Europe/UK. I highly recommend and in your case, I'd make you a "to-go cup" so you don't miss out 🙂
