If you want a college degree, but don't want to spend a fortune on tuition, and want to graduate faster... Degree Hacking is the fastest, most affordable way to earn a college degree.
What is Degree Hacking?
Degree Hacking is a simple step by step process that can help you earn an entire Bachelor’s Degree in as little as 6 Months. The process teaches you how to graduate WITHOUT textbooks homework, quizzes, group projects, lesson plans, study guides and more…
Who is Ryan Swayt?
I was a 2 time college dropout working a $12 an hour job, with a family to support. I was desperate for a better future. Long story short, I found a better way. I earned an entire Bachelor’s Degree in just 9 months and found a career I love. This process has changed my life, now I want to teach others how to do the same.

I am interested in pursuing an Accountiing BA and am considering UMPI and WGU. My biggest concern with WGU was the lack of awarding a GPA which I thought was a big problem if you intend on getting into a good Masters program. Thank you for this review you have done. It is helping me immensely.
It's my pleasure. The GPA thing is different but it actually doesn't effect MBA programs as much as you'd think. 7 of the 8 Ivy League Schools have accepted WGU grads. Which is pretty insane!
The problem with wgu is that they don't accept international students

Hello..what school did you graduate from? Maybe I can go there too..thnaks
I have a very confused situation, I studied medicine in Russia for 7 years, and dropped out of it 3 months before my final exams, this happened in 2013. Now I live in Ireland and thinking how can I transfer those hours of study into credits here? There are about 13000 hours in my transcript. I want to use it to get a degree
The degree hacking process is a little bit different from outside the US but can absolutely still be done. I'd just look for schools that are willing to accept a lot of your past credits. I just did a brand new training specifically for International Students. I hope this is very valuable to you...
www.diplomasecrets.com/international-watch-page
Thank you very much Ryan for this wonderful information. Please how do i know the schools offering Flat Rate Tuition?
The thing about competency based education is that they often require you have 60 transferable credits first, specifically that they will accept. You could have an AA or AS and end up not accepted because some of those courses don't transfer. They also have typically higher tuition such as $500/credit cost ie $1500 per class. The classes are often accelerated from 10 or 12 week courses to 5 weeks and they may require you to take 2 at a time doing double the normal class load of work for each because of the fast pace.
Beer Waffling thats what you're doing please stop
If I understand correctly with CBE you are tested and placed based on your current knowledge of a subject whereas with a traditionally learning system you start at the beginning regardless of your knowledge of the subject.
Each school does it differently. With some programs, if you get a passing grade on the exam... you skip the entire class and get credit for it.
I went to WGU it’s real but I didn’t like the proctor exams. I could not pass it due to my learning disability. Any suggestions on a school like WGU with no proctor exams?
UMPI's Your Pace programs might be a good fit. They're structured a little differently but still self paced.
I know a friend who suffers high anxiety whenever she’s taking an exam with a proctor. She always failed the exam even if she studies. Crazy . I’ll let her to check UMPI. Thanks
This is a great video!! I essentially did the same thing but for my high school and associate's degree, completing both in 3 years. Now I'm 17, underemployed, and wanting to make more money. I'd ideally like to get a bachelor's in environmental management, or a related business/science degree. I've thought about simply getting a business degree (which I could easily do in 3-6 months) and then spending my time at an in-person school for an environmental master's, but I'm not sure. Any tips for finding a school or program like that?

I have students on track for 3 to 6 months, so you can absolutely fly if you have the time. Shoot me an email with a little more info, including what majors you're looking into and I'll help you map something out. (ryan@9monthgrad.com)
Times have changed. Most schools have changed their standards for 3rd party exam transfer. There are faster ways than CLEP, DSST AND UEXCEL. If you only need a few classes, this can still work great. If you're starting from zero, it's not the fastest way.
Thank you for this video! Do you have a list of the most lenient colleges that accept the most transfer credits as well as fast track online colleges that we can speed through on classes without limitations? Thank you!
I list some schools in this video... ua-cam.com/video/O5jfmn1_vAA/v-deo.html
Thank you for making this video, it's very helpful and informative! If I all ready have 2 years of college credits from an AA degree, will I be able to use those credits in this accelerated process ?
At least some of them, yes. Some schools are better than others for accepting past earned credits. Also, the most common factor for credits not transferring is the previously earned credits don't have anything to do with the new major. So if you're staying in the same field of study, you'll lose less. Shoot me an email and I'll see if I can help you map something out (ryan@9monthgrad.com)

Hello,
I am very happy that I found your UA-cam channel. Your advice is veryyyy helpful. I took the California Hugh school Exit Exam and passed it and want to pursue bachelors in Criminal justice. So you are saying, I should do 3 party exams and then enroll in a college, right? Can you also suggest me some college accepting these credits in Southern California? I tried to reach my father too but he did not help me either. So I’m seeking advice from you and you will help me pursue my goal.
I prefer doing most of the testing through the Universities. But 3rd party exams do help if you're attending a school that doesn't allow you to "Test Out". Shoot me an email with a little more info on your goals and I'll see if I can help you find a faster path. (ryan@9monthgrad.com)
Which one is the best to transfer to a CS degree if you have an existing Bachelors in Business Admin?
People that advocate these for profit college don't realize that by trying to "Help" people who couldn't actually finish college they're just helping big business make more money while undervaluing the actual degree. Think of it this way by running through college and getting it done graduating with 100k people a year do you really think you're going to get paid more for being a graduate when everyone else also is?
I totally get it. These schools are ripping people off big time. Unfortunately, all the data shows that people with degrees make more money. Obviously there are countless exceptions but if we're talking the average person... degrees lead to better jobs.
That's why I advocate hacking these degrees, and funding them through scholarships and grants. I got mine in 9 months for $200 out of pocket. And I went from $12/hour to making great money almost overnight.
Sadly, there are Millions of people with degrees that are underemployed. But I think the reason for that is that people don't know how to get good jobs. Getting good jobs is a skill that needs to be learned, and most people don't get that.
So, I'm not advocating to get ripped off by the "system"... But for people willing to get creative, let's take the back door.
Just applied! WGU has the program I want (Supply Chain & Operations Management). Any tips?

I am thinking about Walden... thoughts? I am international student with no residency in USA, so can't go for something like WGU
Walden has these new "Tempo Learning" programs that are Competency Based. And they have some pretty unique program offerings. I don't have any personal experience with Walden, but their "Tempo Learning" programs look solid. I'd just make sure ahead of time that under a year is going to be possible for the degree.
Hey, thank you for this video. It gave me an idea of what I want to do after high school, but unfortunately some of the requirements to the schools I researched on this list are either age, or require some credits. Yes, there are several that could work. Shoot me an email with more info about your situation and goals. I'll help you find a solid school... (ryan@9monthgrad.com)

Thank you so much, this information was everything.. I can’t wait to watch more of your videos. ❤
I have reviewed this Video and find it to be entirely credible. You can test out on many courses to gain valid and accredited college credits. I went on a different path where I was limited to "in class" education. There did not exist these loopholes that I was aware of in 1971 (start of college for me). Why? because there was no INTERNET available. I took the long road and "shortened it." My cost of education was based on 18 credits per quarter. At that time it was $15 per credit hour at the Community College. But I found that if you took more than 18 Credits, the rest was FREE during that term. So, I started taking more than 18 credits per term. In fact, I took as much as 40 credit hours and passed all classes. That is about 1 year of credit in one college term. for a cost of $5 per credit hour. and that was in 1973. Therefore, I know that it is true that you can save a lot of money via the presented program in this video. The other benefit is that all the credit earned was transferable to my Bachelor degree program to the maximum of 120 Credits (credits are 2/3rds that of a Semester Credit). In 2012, I had my Military Transcript evaluated at an Accredited University and was awarded 100 Semester hours towards a Bachelor Degree, leaving only 30 Semester hours (average time to establish a major) of credits to earn a degree BA Health Sciences Management. All those Credits transferred were Army Training and Military Occupation Specializations (MOS) that complied with the American Council on Education (ACE), and its determination of credits equivalency to the College titled courses. The transferred credits approved contained 11 of18 semester units of Upper Level courses. So if you have a Military JST Transcript, Submit it to the receiving institution and that can save a lot of money on your education because many Colleges and Universities transfer JST Credits without charge! Oh! the University I transferred the Credits to is a STATE University #41 in Top Public Schools.
Sounds like you’re describing UMPI brother
UMPI is a solid choice for accelerated degrees. It's not the only option, but should be near the top of the list.

What’re your thoughts on University of Wisconsin Flex? Is that comparable to WGU?
I love that Wisconsin has a flex program in Health Science. Which is amazing for pre-med. But if you're comparing equivalent majors, like Business... I like WGU's programs more. It's faster, and cheaper. And should open the same doors.
@@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671 thanks for the response. How fast is the UW flex? I already have a bachelors and a masters but my old undergrad closed its doors. I work in healthcare and everyone asks where I did undergrad which ultimately leads to an awkward convo - maybe even future hiring issues. Considering transferring my old credits and getting another bachelors in Health Sciences from UW flex.
That's my favorite program that UW Flex offers. That's a great idea. As far as time goes, completely depends on how much time you put in and how fast of a learner you are. Plus how many credits they'll accept for transfer.
There are some schools where you can churn through a class a week (or faster). With UW Flex, I'd expect it to be more like a class every couple of weeks.
Which is still a lot faster than most programs out there.

Since I am not a native English speaker and I read slowly, do you think I am able to finish bachelors or master degree in less than a year?
If you're attending school here in the US, English as a second language will definitely make it more difficult.
