The bad part about the school is when I last checked, the professors are volunteers. Yep, professors are there to gain experience in order to get a real gig in academia. From a student standpoint, it appears to be good for the pocket, but I do not know how the job market is going to respond to this degree.

I really want to do something, but doing it just seems so difficult. I want either a psychology degree, a writing degree or communications degree. I feel like the psych degree could be done quickly and I have interest and experience there. I’m also a stand up comedian, writer, podcast and content creator (biggish on TT) and have those skills. I’m done for any help, but buying a program isn’t something I can afford to do. I’m not even 100% sure I can pay for school..

So I have 60 hours from the University of Maine. And I wanted to transfer them over to Southern New Hampshire University. I wouldn't be able to do the back door route? If I wanted to do the back door route I would be starting from scratch?

I just graduated with my associates degree. It took me three years. I didn’t do alternative credits.

Southern New Hampshire is a quality school and many students graduate faster. They have a generous transfer agreement. 30 credits online is required.

I'm from india, just got out of school and am now looking for colleges for my bachelors, couldn't find a good college/program here, or the good ones were unaffordable for me. Ended up finding SNHU 100% online for indians. Had the program I wanted and I have been waiting for some approval. That's only because I am worried about it being accepted here in india by employers specifically. My career plan is to get a bachelors, grt industry level certs, paid trainings, then paid internships at large industries, then land a job successfully. For the job I am planning to go abroad but first I'll find one in India. Easier said than done I know but this is my goal and I'll stop at nothing to achieve this. I'm 19 currently btw. That's where this university comes in, offering master's degrees, in education. However, this is not the right university for someone who needs to attend a regional university, qualify for FAFSA, or receive a full scholarship from traditional universities or seminaries. But for someone like me-a U.S. citizen with existing student loans who wanted to pursue a master's degree-this university was a perfect fit.
