Ex-mcdonalds employee here. Fun fact, we get timed at our positions. If its at the drive through, the total interaction can't be longer than 45 seconds. Ordering is 30 seconds, paying is 10 seconds, and getting stuff out the window is 5 seconds. That's in the green. Orange is around 1 minute and 15 seconds. Anything past that is in the red. You go into the red at your station more than 3 times in a day, you're moved to a different position. However at my old workplace it was a fireable offense. (Manager was an upstanding prick with a power trip.) At least the door dashers were nice.

as someone who works at mcdonalds, this is so understandable. having to deal with people who skip a window or completely drive past the speaker is so irritating. it's especially irritating when we're busy(which is like 90% of the day) because they just hold up the line💀
Hey Fred, in the segment with the manager (around 10-12 minutes), I heard three very low frequency thumps deep in the background. They happened within a couple minutes of each other. If I had to guess, someone else was closing a heavy door elsewhere in your house. The peak frequencies were around 25-27 Hz. I wear AirPods Pro 2 at night with noise cancellation enabled. What do you think the noise was?

The UK still uses two windows? In the US we almost never used both windows. Made it hell to do drive through cashiering because the person taking orders has to bag, get the drinks and maybe specialty items if the kitchen doesn't have enough people.
I'm not sure what the price of all that is in the UK, but here, specially in MY State, that would have came out to something to $30. We don't have McDonald's Chicken Selects here in the US nor McDonalds salads anymore, I mean, it could be just my State, so I replaced the 9 pc selects with 10 pc nuggies and dipped on the salad. So here all that would cost around $30. XD Yeah, in my State in the US, Fast Food is VERY expensive.
