Hello, I would say 1 of the main reason for a compressor short cycling would be high pressure. Check for a broken fan blade, function of the condenser motor or a dirty condenser coil
the symbol is a ( T ) lying down and another ( T ) lying opposite to the first one, let's say that the long parts of the T point to opposite sides but are horizontally, I hope you understand me

If i dont have that option on my multimeter with mfd, is there another way i can test it? I got an old craftdman with vdc,vac,aac,bat,ohms..
Whats a good replacement capacitor for this brand i use them on a islandaire unit that model is discontinued and hard to find

Well if the compressor is not coming on that is a possibility but if it is it may be low on refrigerant..

Hello, those are for the blower motor, depending on the voltage they could be a 1,. 1.5(if 15k btu 265v) or a 2 microfarad capacitor
