Thanks, it sure was nice catching those beauties. That's pretty interesting about the loons skimming, I was worried that it was hurt when I first saw it. Thanks for checking out the video, much appreciated!
Great video, thanks for sharing it. That was some fish! I like both the campsites you chose. I think I know where the one you were staying at when you caught the brookie; I've been meaning to get there. Hopefully this year.
Thanks! Catching that fish was awesome, it definitely made my day. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching- much appreciated! Hope you get a chance to get out there this year, it sure is a great place. Safe travels
This is st Regis canoe area. We're heading to five ponds wilderness next spring for a long canoe camping trip, very excited about it. Thanks for watching and stopping by to comment, very much appreciated!
WOW!! What a great Brookie!! Good video, wondering if you would share how much leader you use and what pound test after the wobbler? Maybe do a video on how you rig it? Looking forward to the next video.
Thanks! I couldn't believe how big that fish was, it was awesome. I use 6lb fluorocarbon main line, and I use a swivel at both ends of the wabbler. This prevents line twist, and makes it fast and easy to swap out different wabblers and leaders. I use 4lb fluorocarbon after the wabbler, usually about 18- 24 inches. I'll make a segment on my next trip covering how I rig up my setup. Thanks for checking out the video, I really appreciate it!
That sure is a nice camp site. . . I really like the smaller pond you stayed at (I stayed there this year also). Just wish I had a little better luck fishing, lol! Nice video!
great fishing spot.
Another beautiful video. Thanks for sharing and keep it up.
Thanks for checking out the video, glad you enjoyed it!
great job
Beautiful brookies. That skimming action the loons were doing is part of their courtship and mating.

Those owls were so close to camp!
They were definitely a pleasant surprise, glad it was caught on camera.

Nice video, nice fish, great dog. What is the location. I have spent a lot of paddle stroke in Five Ponds Wilderness but don't recognize those spots
