Mercruiser 4.3 Liter Freeze Damage 5-24-18 Plug out, Cracked Manifolds

We knew it was going to be a bad spring with freeze damage and cracked blocks. It went below "0" for two consecutive nights, and stayed in the teens during the days. When we winterize a boat, we protect it down to minus 20 degrees.
We have been keeping tally on the amount of cracked blocks this season, and this is #20. If we have heard it once, we have heard it dozens of times - "I have always winterized my boat that way, and I have never had a problem".
At that point there is really not much else I can say other than it did not seem to work this time.
We have purchased about half of them for parts, but now we are months behind on parting boats out, and they are parked three deep out back. Volvo Penta SX, Volvo Penta AQ, Mercruiser Alpha 1 and Gen 2, Yamaha Sterndrive, OMC Cobra, we will be listing the parts as quick as we can get them parted out.
