  • Showing an updated crossbow target, assembly and testing, I did end up replacing the boards and adding more carpet, with a little arrow release agent, the bolts came out just fine

      I'm building one now. My local carpet store just leaves it by the dumpster.

    I made something similar but when pulling out the bolts the heads were being left in the carpet.

    D Smith, you adjust how compact the carpet pieces are, that helps, I haven't lost any broad heads yet, watch the 2nd video where I repair the boards

    Wonder if done this way but with compressed card board would work,,,,just adjust tightness according to bolt depth

      Should work okay, just can't leave it outside, probably fall apart if it got soaking wet.

      However it is still working great today

      @@arthurcarstens it was a great video my friend, I’m thinking of making a lot smaller version for my mini crossbow now I’ve seen your video and thank you and a very merry Christmas to you as well 👍

      P.s. I’m going to use small cargo straps with the ratchets on them to strap mine together rather than your long steel rod bolt down version to see how it works out…..

    • @arthurcarstens
      @arthurcarstens  Рік тому +1

      @@superdooper9200 using the rachet straps is a good idea
      Since it's for a mini crossbow

      @@arthurcarstens well it’s only a 80lb crossbow so I think the straps should be ok to secure the carpet together…..
