Super cool you interviewed Lenny! I’ve gotten quite a few modules from him being right down the road from me in Washington. He’s a great seller, recently he sent me a bunch of knobs to finish something because I wanted it to match his other modules and I couldn’t find the same knobs he uses, and he did it for free! Thought that was pretty cool. Definitely makes you want to keep giving that type of person buisness. Great episode 👍
After Later Audio has great attention to detail. The trim pots he uses in his modules are made like no others I’ve used. Tall bushing and next to no wobble. So good.
Great interview - had never heard of ALA before this and I really dig his approach. Will definitely be adding some of these when I eventually get a rack going.
Just bought an Ornament and Crime from After Later a few days ago. Ordered in the morning. They flashed alternate firmware and shipped the module that same evening. Great module, well-built. All around a great company. I just wonder how intentional their panel design was - there is some irony in a decorated/designed panel bearing the name Ornament & Crime. :)
One of the next modules I've got my eye on is the Typhoon. I already have a normal clouds but that's got to be the ultimate iteration of it. The Daleks are terrified of it because like Dr Who it's the oncoming storm!
I like seeing the development on their original modules but this business model is dodgy at best. Good luck, I won't be purchasing anything this manufacturer makes.
Lol
"How'd you get into modular"
"I suffered a head injury in a car crash"
My first module was the uBurst from After Later Audio. This company holds a special place in my heart.
Awesome guy, awesome products. Just bought a bunch. Please support him and his mission.

Just finished doing a stream going over the Typhoon that ALA makes - solid module, and the white and gold panel is a great touch. :)

That poster of that cat is amazing! Anybody have any clue where i could find that?
We first saw this series at a local restaurant and had the same reaction. We got it from Etsy (www.etsy.com/shop/AnimalCrew).
Have their uRings, affordable and small but good quality.
I have their uRings and am gonna be lookin to see if they still offer the Juggler since I can’t find any benjolins anywhere lol
We have been working with Rob Hordijk on refreshing the Benjolin design and will have an announcement in the coming months.
