    THIS video is the one that just helped me with a couple questions I had. I've been making tumblers for 2 years, but I am new to the storyboard ones and like you, I've been watching a lot of videos and doing research. There's a lot of videos out there, but they didn't answer the 2 questions I had about the bottom cap, and the seal at the top. They were all vague, or didn't answer exactly what I needed. Your video did and was easy to understand and I am now confident I can finish the 2 cups I started, so thank you so very much.

    Thank you. This other vid has people putting silicone over the openings where the water goes. I did this and let it sit for 2 days, and my glitter was still stuck to the sides... your technique is cleaner. Did it leak?

    Just an FYI...the black part comes out of the best so you can epoxy that on then you can add more fluid to fill it with a syringe :) then you won't have the huge air bubble. If you can't pull them apart put in the freezer for a few mins and use pliers :)

    Hey beautiful I love your work😍, but I did come across a technique that allows you to use clear waterslides on black tumblers.
    1.) Pick image and flip it before printing.
    2.) Clear coat 2 times and then spray matte white spray paint the in the spots that need a white background (not too much or the paper will get heavy, just enough to cover the image).
    3.) One more layer of clear coat and let dry completely.
    4.) Apply to tumbler as usual🥰

    • @jpmangen
      @jpmangen 2 роки тому

      I use the technique on all my water slides. I makes it much easier to apply and also toughens up the waterslide so it doesn't tear easily.

    Absolutely LOVE your video. So clear, so precise, so easy to follow. I do have 2 questions though if you don't mind... I think you did do it, but I have to ask anyway lol...
    1st question: Did you sand your tumbler?
    2nd question: if I want to do a Pennywise themed cup would the waterslide be on white waterslide paper? I think it's yes but I doubt myself a lot lol..

      If you don't hot glue the hole above the screw in fully water can seep In. I like to hot glue it and then uv resin over it to make sure there are no holes. Hope this helps.
