I have to tell you, I take are of my dad who is fighting stage 4 cancer, and he is as old and grumpy as they come (but i love him, he's my daddy). So, I was sitting in the living room watching this tutorial the other day and he sat down and watched with me, he said you are a true artist and he was really really impressed with this tumbler!
Sandy, this is the best story board t tutorial I’ve seen! You are the sweetest person and the best teacher. I always learn so much from you. Thank you!
I am going to try to do these and maybe sell some tumblers. I was disabled in law enforcement and currently not getting any disability or any income at all. Hopefully I can build a business that I can do physically! I love your channel. So glad I found it! 🌺
Thank you so much for going into details without making it seem like it's a big deal to be explaining things to those who haven't tried this or to scared to try it. I've always loved that about your videos!!
Thanks for the inspiration. I’m trying my first one. Making one for my dog lover friend. Your glitters are amazing I just love them. I’ll post a picture when I finish. Thank you for the easy to follow steps. P.S. I found the glitter holders, thank you so much, now I can store more glitter. 😆
This tutorial was absolutely amazing ! I love doing acrylic tumblers and was asked if there were any stainless steel snowglobes and I was like ummm I’m not too sure lol but this is just absolutely awesome from what to use and how to use it !!!
I agree with you Edith! Neat way to seal bottom. I have tried a couple regular tumblers and a couple snow globes and man, I wish I knew someone close to me that could help. Ugh. Getting very frustrated but not ready to give up yet!
My first story board was a miserable failure!!! But after watching this I think I will try again because you did things a little different and that may solve my failings! Thanks, Sandy!
The first time I made them I failed too! It was only a couple months ago I started making them again. I’m obsessed now and can’t wait to make more tutorials using them 💖
Sandy you are such an inspiration to so many, not only your outstanding talent, but also your positive attitude and gentile nature. I so appreciate watching your videos.
Ok PLEASSSSEEEEEE HELP! I DONT KNOW WHAT I AM DOING WRONG! I ABSOLUTELY ADORE YOU AND THIS TUMBLER!!! I purchased everything and went to work! I have tried now several times to get the seal right on the tumbler so it didn't leak!!! I got the same materials, the Dap silicone seal put it at the top and pushed it down as well as put it on the top of the cup! Put the cup back together for 8hours, opened the bottom to let it breathe! And let it sit over night. I have probably watched your video 20 times! Oh and it didn't leak when I did the leak test....but when I put the bottom back on it opened the flood gates! 💔👀😭
I tried one story board tumbler about two years ago and it was a total fail, but after watching this tutorial, I believe I will give it another try. I love the design of your cup so cute and summery.
Me too! I’ve had lots of requests for a tutorial but wanted to make sure they would last and I knew (somewhat lol) what I was doing, so I started a couple months ago trying them out again. I’m obsessed now! I’ll be doing more for sure. 💖💖
I love this from the base Coral 😉 colors to the cut our summer pieces to, the leaves Oh my!!! Just love, love, love this! 🥰 👏 👏 💜 💜 💜 I have yet to make a Story Board Tumbler so I am definitely going to have to add this to my list this year. You make the best I have yet to see out there!
I’ve been looking for a detailed tutorial on the story board since I got some on sale and I finally found one that I understand! Thank you sooo much Sandy! It came out gorgeous. I love it 😍 stay blessed 🥰
Sandy. Did you hear my call? I want to do one of these and have it all taken apart and trying to figure out what to do. I tried to watch other tutorials but I said "I need Sandy to do a tutorial". And here it is. Thank you I can proceed with my storyboard now! 😘🥰
I did a storyboard a few weeks ago. Once I was able to break it down it was easy and fun! I can't wait to do more! Love the tropical vibes you have here!

Love this! Always wanted to try a storyboard cup but was a bit, okay a lot, intimidated by them. You make it look so easy so I'm going for it! Thank you for all your wonderful tutorials. You explain things so well. ❤❤❤
Hi, this tutorial was great, I have made a new unsuccessfully. I don't work with Epoxy and would like to stay away. I use other brands for my tumbler seals. What do you suggest to use other than epoxy to seal the tumbler?
Hi Sandy... This is a beautiful cup. I"m at your website right now looking to place an order. This ?? is totally off glitter, but about the medicine cups you use. I see the Amazon link. Do these have the ridges on the inside of the cups? I HATE the ones that do. I feel like you can't get all the epoxy out of them. Thank you 🙂 I hope your weather and humidity cools down a bit... Up here in Seattle, we've had the coldest January - June in history - Spring was non-existant this year.
@@hopeaudi171 I don’t. When I add the epoxy after I let the silicone cure I fill it with epoxy and haven’t had any issues. But I’ve seen others fill the hole. Either way you feel comfortable doing and prefer.
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial. I was wondering when you use the 2x gloss spray. I see it in the video and it's listed as a supply and in the comments about it looking hazy with humidity, but I want to confirm when you use it. Is it after you peel the vinyl and before the epoxy? Thank you!!
I know you sometimes have tumblers laying around.... Do you by chance have this one or one like this? I love it so much 💙 anything with monstera leaves and not hot pink lol but you probably don't take 1 cup orders anymore do you?
I'm new to your channel I really love the fact how you explain everything but I have a question where do buy your Tumblers from no one seems to want to share the information.
I did what you did and screwed the bottom on and my glitter stuck together and it leaked. Of course it's not sealed I'm just trying to move the glitter around. So I have 2 questions. How do I get the glitter to un-clump and how will I know if the bottom will still leak once sealed? Thank you, Carrie
Do you not have to seal that hole on the bottom where the threads are? Someone said you don’t want the liquid in that hole to get in the wall of the cup?
Such a cool tumbler! I do have a question though. How does the epoxy over the glitter on the center part not soften when you add the water glycerine mixture?
Great question! Once epoxy has cured fully it is water resistant to a point. It can become eroded if you use water from the tap, especially city water with chlorine and other chemicals added and well water, which is why you want to make sure to use distilled water to combat erosion. I also make sure the top and bottom seal will be secured under sealant so over time the water won’t pull the seals away off the inside base. I hope this has helped 🤗💖
@@SandysOrganizedChaos Interesting. So really the reason we cant wash the epoxy cups in the dishwasher is more because of the heat and detergents rather than the water?
Thanks!
Thank you so very much for the Super Thanks!
I’ve never wanted to do one of those tumblers until this tutorial. You’re a wonderful teacher.
Thank you Naomi 💖

I really enjoyed watching you make this tumbler. Quick question, how do you fix your tumbler if when you seal it and you have a leak?
Ty! So many different ways of making these tumblers. Does it not go in the middle if you don’t seal all the middle where the threads are?
Love it!!
Thank you!
Awesome!!
Thank you, Robin 🤗💖
Haha before you said "kind of intimidating " I yelled out "How!?"

I know Michaels sells them. There are also some sellers on Etsy that had them.
Did u say u sanded the tumbler before painting
