  • A few tips on how I go about setting up for shooting from the Waldrops Pac Seat. now is the time to work this out so that when it comes time out in the field you're not having to think about how to set up and how you personally shoot from a sitting position.

Great info. I also shoot a recurve (Bear Supermag48), and have always set up as you demonstrated, trying to anticipate your shot. I have many different seats/blind combinations. I hope to order a Waldrop seat soon to use next year. They are expensive, but so versatile I believe I would use it year round. Thanks for the video. Great info.

Enjoyed the video and am glad I found your channel. I got a Waldrop seat this summer and plan on using your ground techniques this year in the thickets and swamps of SW Alabama. For those hunts during bow season I'll be shooting a Hickory Creek mini that's supposed to arrive today. Apparently, the mini can be shot right or left handed with practice, which should improve odds of getting a shot in tight situations.

Dave do you find your arrow impact to be a little higher when hunting from a tree stand vs the ground?

I shoot instinctively so I don't really think that's a problem for me I haven't noticed that I shoot High from a stand.
