- Living full-time in my rolling tiny home has been the best decision of my life. Off-Grid living offers a peace and connection to life that you just can't explain. When i first started van life i build a stealth camper van with the mindset the you had to live a stealth van life and i soon discovered that you can just live the city van life and boondock in the countryside and as long as you are respectful of the backcountry and cities you live in. I use to live in Milwaukee. In our neighborhood someone was breaking into cars, breaking windows at least once a week. Everyone paid for alarms I couldn't afford that. So I stopped locking my door and always left some change in the cup holder. I never had any damage to my car. They would take the change and lock my car. Everone thought I was crazy. But I never had to clean up glass. Well worth a couple bucks.

Chrome, my grandma made biscuits in a cast iron pan. Two pies tins in the hot cast iron, then flip them half way done to brown the tops. Nice cookies 👌👍.

That's the coolest dog. He's a real gentleman.
OFF makes a little fan unit with a disc cartridge. You clip it in n your belt or clip on Cruz collar. Works great 👍🏻 uses batteries. No spray on yourself.
Also peppermint and tea tree oils work as insect repellant.
Tea tree is toxic for dogs :/

VAN 'COOKIE BAKING' TIP : ) (still in the cast iron pan w/ lid) BUT ... If u want *less heat* in your Van, bake the pre-formed cookies FASTER by 1st, 'thawing' / 'making sure' they're room temp + 2nd, Flatten them 1st to look like an even flat pancake, ... they will look basically the same when done & still taste great !! : ) Plus will also save a lil' on Propane $ : ) each time ~

Glad you talked about that couple in the SUV. Just glad I'm not the only one out there! For two years I travelled the US and Canada (with my dog) in my car..a Saturn Ion. I have since moved up to something bigger..lol....a Pontiac Vibe! This is my second year travelling in it and it works out great. Lots of room for the dog and I. We are both not too big! Great gas mileage and I can park anywhere, being stealth if I want. Because honestly no one expects someone to be sleeping in a little SUV.

Essential oils. For mosquitos. Lavender. 5 drops to quart of water. Mist you and Cruz.

Actually animal are very sensitive to essential oils. Less is more with them. So if you choose to use essential oils please be sure to only use one drop to a cup or more of water, until you know Crus’s sensitivity level. Just saying 😜

My moms neighbor swears by DRYER SHEETS (bounce or some other brand) to keep skeeters away. She usually sticks a dryer sheet in her hat when she is going to be outside.

Do NOT use tea tree oil on that baby. Try Avon Skin So Soft. I use the spray mixed with a bit of water on myself and the pup and it works grear.

Avon skin so soft can be used on our fur babies only takes a couple of drops, the light bar is a great idea it can be used as an air brake, if you don't need or want an air brake don't worry about it

I vote no light bar. An air diverter, yes, keeps the air from vibrating the bottom on the solar array. Put an LED light bar on the wing. Love you, brother.

mix 2 cups water and 25 drops eucalyptus oil in a spray bottle . works on most biting bugs . I use this on my 10 month old pup

Hi, There are plants and essential oils, to be used extremely carefully and frugally that can repel bugs. Thanks for the information on bugs and mosquitoes!
Citronella candles work great for keeping the bugs away. Repel and Cutter both make them. I've used the Repels ones in the past. Should be able to get them at Walmart in the camping section. Light a couple around your camp site and it keeps most of the bugs away.

I use the skin so soft oil on my dog and it really helps with not only the skin but bugs were gone
Skin so soft didn't work for me...but Noxzema mixed into lotion works for me...just a suggestion

You know how they say that people look like their dogs??? I think you might have that going on LOLOL!! As for all the comments about the chocolate chip cookies, wow, I often let my pups have a piece of my chocolate chip cookie and they all love to have the last little bit of my fudgesickle. A dog would have to consume quite a bit of chocolate to make them sick, like if they managed to get a hold of a whole chocolate bar. This is such a beautiful time to travel, everything is so green and lush. What a beautiful province we have, so very grateful to live here.
