I listen to this every couple of months. Even with Kiefer Sutherland enjoying and pushing his music ya think he would have gone farther easy....this is gold.
...it's been a long time coming....I've owned your CDs for atleast a decade...I just moved...refound you lol...I'm terrible I know...sooooo glad I went thru a box labeled "too good to be not known"...much love to you Rocco!
This is an amazing band live. We saw them in Central Park, NYC over the summer and I have literally turned half a dozen folk on to them. Even had my daughter go to a small venue concert in Chicago-she even got VIP treatment OOTB-out of the blue when she arrives. I wonder if my posting to them on their myspace site had anything to do with it. Rocco is steeped in blues-his father toured with Bo Diddley as a guitarist, Way Cool. Entire album/CD is a winner.
I remember, when I'm reading through Wikipedia about Rocco, that documentary called, I trust you to kill me, because they came here to Iceland and played on the most viewed show, with their manager, Keifer Sutherland.
We have tickets to see him in Spokane WA on May 2nd. We also saw him open for Collective Soul, and were hooked from that point on. Great dobro player!!!
Listen y'all....buy the album's....I promise you won't be disappointed. Hes definitely an artist you can press play and listen to each track without wanting to skip one...he will take hold as you will find he's truly a blessing coming to you in the form of music.
does anyone know the tuning for this song?? ive just recently started learning to play slide (thanks to rocco) so i havent learned the tunings so if someone could help me out that would be awesome
Oh Lord - that sweet, soulful voice! Special singer right here, and that dobro makes for immediately distinctive music! Swampy, bluesy soulful!
Dude is like death on the dobro, he kills it everytime. Rocco is the man.
I hate cliche comments, but this song literally deserves millions more views.
Oh man, i heard this on the radio in the bar the other day, it made me happy.
Gota Love Rocco.... listen to all his songs and fall in love.
~♥~

Yours is from a year ago... :)

Keeping it alive
Released by IRONWORKS... which means it was released by Kiefer Sutherland and Jude Cole
He makes his slides out of the neck of a wine bottle. So however thick a wine bottle neck is.
i agree with u berzerker9...this is pretty much the only 21st century band that i like...and led zeppelin is my favorite band
Mind, blown. That last minute ... holy ... I had to slap someone, and I was the only one here.

Is it me or does he sound a little like AudioSlave? I totally dig it.
I've been changed/impacted by a few songs, not by Rocco though.
