Totally agree.... saw the 'fast' people in Kilimanjaro sat in the camps at night with banging heads and after 3-4 days getting AMS.... saw a number descend too.... we were Pole-Pole...super slow and made it to the top....

This is the reason I don't like going anywhere in big groups of people. Five or six people is the max, and two to four people is ideal.
Is it helpful to add extra rest days? (I am 61)
