Alia started a viable business from concept and ground up, using her own money that is also expanding before she was even 30. Katrina is 41 (real age 44, sorry, cannot omit truth).
The only thing was wrong about this video was , she took this business because her films were not doing well. It's false , she left L'Oréal Paris for Kaybeauty long ago , after that decision,she gave many hit films. It was about her passion towards Make up .
Bharat was a hit movie so is tiger 3 .. Declared by the box office sites.They didn't work on expectations ..Every actor has flops. Katrina still has highest success ratio among actors.
Films like Gadar, Animal and Stree did 500 cr + without any superstars so Tiger 3 was expected to do at least 500 crores given the huge popularity of the series so it is considered an Average.
When Deepika Padukone was questioned about the high price points for her products, she just passed the question to her business partner sitting next to her who too dodged it anyways..And then she started rambling about their core values being hinesty and sincerity..what an irony..You just cannot fool consumers ..Katrina on the other hand is sincere and well researched approach..That shows her passion for her work
Its not about berating her just like its not about altruism for business owners. Celebrities open themselves up for public discussions, scrutiny and criticism comes with the space. As a consumer, it is every persons right to call out a business owner for any perceived deception...No offence to your love for Deepika..I appreciate her detemination, hard work and success too but not her business acumen..Thats all

I think what actually worked for Kay Beauty was that Katrina's first intent was never about generating ton of money, which sadly is the case with all other celeb brands. She knew that any celebrity brand can initially generate money because of the exposure stars hold but the only way to make it stand out and work for her in long term would be to treat her products and company like her baby. Im glad she started off with the right intent. If a product has good quality and a story to resonate with it has the ability to make space for itself whether you are Katrina or a nobody. What truly matters is the product and you know when you put any of her products on your face that she knew what she was putting out there. My sister loves her brand, she has been using high end brands all this while but since the time Kay beauty launched she could see that the price points were actually pretty reasonable for the quality they were providing. I still see that her vanity is full of Kay products and i kinda find it nice. Anyways Kudos to Katrina and Falguni. ❤

Kay beauty actually works for me, I use mostly Korean skincare but when it comes to makeup I use Kay beauty foundation, loose powder, blush, brown Kajal, few lipsticks. I even have eyeshadow palette
Most of her initial products were in stick format which was phenomenal. Her eyeshadow sticks were one of a kind at that time. Also, the packaging is beautiful and creative.

I invested a lot of time between my university exams to participate in Kay BEAUTY’s giveaway. I spent time commenting, sharing every Kay BEAUTY post, and really wanted to win. After winning the giveaway, they stopped replying to my messages. A month later, I received a small package with nail paints that are set to expire in two months. I informed them that I can’t use these products due to the short expiration, and they told me to give them to my followers, but then completely stopped responding. Is it fair to invest so much time in a giveaway, only to receive nearly expired products? It feels like they were just trying to clear out old stock, and now I regret investing so much time and effort. This experience has been really disappointing
