Something you might not know about Musk Ox is that their fleece/fur is one of the warmest per gram on the planet. It is highly prized by the people who collect it. The Musk Ox like to scratch themselves on fences posts and fencing wire and that's where it gets collected. With such an agressive animal you can't exactly walk up to them and snatch some "wool". I've had a sample of it and I have a spinning wheel. It makes an incredible pillow-like yarn. They are amazing animals.
