You are very helpful , I was on doubt about working with them because I couldn’t see the load board till now. Thank you and keep doing videos like this.
The only youtube channep that actually talk about the real trucking system now days. Im so sick of all these youtube truckers. All they want is views while spending daddys money. My respects to you man
I've been watching for about 2 weeks now you really help my research with coming on.. do Macon ga.. I wanna run midwes come home to ga on weekends make my way back to the Midwest and reapat..when loads permit once again awesome channel thanks
You don’t have to buy it through CRST you can bring your own or buy it anywhere you like, however CRST will sell it to you cheaper than any place else on the planet in fact if I ever need anything other than the stuff they don’t sell I stop at the Birmingham terminal and buy it If you have absolutely nothing, they have a kit for around $2500 that has everything except for under padding. If you were to try to buy that same gear from a tarp shop you’re looking at close to $5K…
I enjoy watching your channel sir, does CRST hire drivers without flatbed experience? I have 6 years of driving experience, no accidents, clean record, but only dry van experience, thanks in advance
Yes, they have a training course. It’s $500 unless your ex military then it’s free, call Tonya in recruiting and she can explain everything to you. They still pay your way there and put you up in a hotel and everything and I’m not sure if if you have to pay the 500 upfront or they take it out of your settlements once you get going, but she will have those answers. I’m from around your neck of the woods I live in St. Louis city is CRST probably a good way for me. My girlfriend is from Philadelphia so I like to go out to the northeast and I done the northeast for most of my trucking career and I’ve done flat bed for the whole two years.
What’s going on my man, I’ve been watching your videos on flatbed and I’ve heard you say something about “the steel belt” and to stay away from Florida and Texas. What cities and/or states make up the steel belt?
sup! oh Lord! tornados! wow! messy! & very very dangerous! good stuff.. noted! U so helpful! really thank U 4 that neighbor! keep following Christ! he knows where to go!😃 yup! yup!......
Not at all it’s always said that and so does every other load board because fuel surcharge changes weekly and in flatbed everything is based on weight, the rates don’t change more than a few dollars either way when it’s all said and done If you have a question, feel free to ask, but please don’t make unfounded statements for other people to read in the future , appreciate it

Hi can you look near cartersville GA please
Can you look at Minneapolis MN area for your next load board video? Thanks!
Hey, Fayetteville and Wilmington are in North Carolina, not Indiana. Could you do the loadboard for them? Sorry about the confusion. Thanks!
Yes that’s where I’m from and I also would like to know
My bad I read it wrong, i’ll try to remember to get it next week….
Also solo drivers can see out like 2 weeks and team trucks can only see 5 days out lol that’s why I hardly ever use their load board
Hey, i remember hearing it from somewhere but i dont recall the number, would you know how much does crst make you pay for flatbed equipment?

Thanks for the flint info! What gear ratio do you recommend for Midwest flatbed driving? Everything I see online in the used market seems to be 2.64.
336 rears with a 10 or 13 speed manual transmission
@@sturgelltruckingllc4074 thank you!
Are you just renting that trailer or is it a lease to own? Also, you pull an open flat or you using a sidekit?
Just renting and it’s an open flat no sides…
Hi Matt how’s the Cummins running after rebuild. Just watching the video. Take care.
It’s running Awesome! I’m super happy so far buddy
Well you get on the flat bed side 100% of FS but on the dry van side they take 3% of that to

That’s a good lane to run, you shouldn’t have a problem if you can do everything else that comes with running your own business
