Why do you (Jeff) use 6lb test for your leaders? Seems awfully light.

That was Hickman being funny. Sarcastic. If everyone fished 6-pound leaders, most of the steelhead would be lost. Jeff does not use 6-pound leaders. Sorry for the bad joke.

Got it. I was like, whoa, that’s what I shoot for with trout! Although I did land a 25lb chrome springer on 8lb maxima once...
