As an young track and field athlete, while running marathon , your body is the only hope , your mind just really want to give up, that feeling is terrible with tones of effort which you see in the video
It’s a wild feeling. One minute you’re good, then before you know it your legs don’t work, field of vision narrows and you can’t hear anything. My face felt like it was on fire mid blackout… Can’t wait for my next marathon 😂 (fueling properly this time)
@@GETONTHERUN no fuel no ride, same as with a car, I tried to do it few times, ot doesn't work, even the jog became impossible at some point after 20 miles

There's something absolutely magical about running and leaving every ounce of strength you have on the course. Last year I ran my first marathon and got 12 seconds under my goal of 4 hours, I felt like a superhero.
Same here on my second attempt (first time I was actually faster but cramps destroyed me). I finished on 3:59:16 five days ago and the pride is still here. Well done mate!

As much as people have been laughing at Gabriella, she still ran a hot marathon in sub 3 hrs, like way under, in shit shoes from 1984. Ofc butt end of the field, but its still an AMAZING feat that she finished.

It happens to me at every 5k where I finish and think “I should pushed myself a lot harder” it takes a lot of mental strength that I don’t currently possess.

I think it more of the body fighting the mind to stop.
