I am currently residing in mumbai, the sand storm threw everything in disarray yesterday. The hoarding unable to comprehend the wind forces buckled and fell on the nearby petrol bunk (which happens to be my regular petrol bunk). It devastated the lives of everyone who have gathered in desperate need for shelter from the storm. As I am writing this, till now debris has not been cleared and bodies not recovered yet.

Hi MG squad, na Mumbai thaan and andha hoarding yenga veedu kitta irrundhu verum 5 nimisham thaan dooram. I stay in Ghatkopar, Mumbai and yesterday was a disaster day here. A lot of people died coz of that hoarding being installed in a land after destroying a planted area for petrol pump construction. Let me tell you a real past incident - the place where I had planted a tree sapling on my birthday in 2021 with my dad near a very small temple built exactly where that hoarding stood . That Lil green cover area was like a forest and I prayed to that lip temple once I planted that plant for its long life but in 2022 that very same place was deforested to build a petrol bulk and that old temple sits at a corner unattended and unnoticed till date. This was very sad for me not just for the tree sapling that I planted but also for a temple even if it was small. I firmly believe there is some or the other co relation with that temple and this felling of the hoarding. Me being from Tamil Nadu we all know how we respect the forest entities but here in the name of development that full green tree cover area was messed up just add an unnecessary petrol pump even when there's another one on the other side of the road just 2 km ahead. I have been living here for the past 14 years of my life and that I have seen all this happen in front of my eyes.
Oh..so sad and i' m disappointed. But this issue is not telecast in any news channel of Tamilnadu. After this video I'm in front of the TV but no news abt this. Anyhow pls save the people and environment. Let's pray to the Almighty.

And mumbai is going through lot of construction work so that was main reason dust in stoam and usually there is dust but because of lot of contrustion work there is more dust😢

Yes I am from Mumbai and there was very sunny yesterday but at 4pm to 4:30 pm first strom came it was light but after only 2sec we were actually going blind because the storm was very very heavy i cant even close the door it was a dusty Cyclonic storm very dangerous 😢 💔 we were very scared because our roof was banging 😢 100 people died My God no one should experience this problem 5pm to 6:30 pm rain was very high thunderstorms hit our area tree and powercut took place from last 1 day network problem I am an Mumbai born but my family is from tamil nadu we are living in Mumbai for our personal needs

Absolutely nothing to worry because This is a Natural phenomenon occuring every year in May 3rd week:
1) Abnormal Rain
2) Tracks being submerged
3) Schools colleges being closed
4) 20 to 25 deaths.
