What am describing here is not a scam but, looks like they are not worried about people safety. I recently visited Kanyakumari and took a ride in the boat to the Vivekananda Memorial. The boat crew keep filling people in the boat until there is no place to stand. This happens in rough sea waters and even when there is a warning sign board saying 'No passengers should stand' while riding.
I guess one person inside is afraid of darkness and shouted heavily to produce a thin vibration. Also the glass might be broken but it might not crush, I'm sure, they will find the debris one day.

Not exactly, industrial steel is expensive than carbon fibre, because industrial steel making process is complicated as it cannot be heated to bend or mould , it's a 3D printing like techies , carbon fibre is strong but only at tensile not great in durability when comes to pressure tests , you can see in hydraulic press videos where carbon steel is weaker than aluminium
