These are beautiful!
And they reminded me of my first solo European trip. There was a young lady on the tour who was obsessed with Louis Vuitton bags. We kept seeing knockoffs everywhere. There was an extra line in the LV logo so it looked like XV. I told her they were by Xavier Vuitton, Louis' illegitimate half brother. We had a good laugh every time we saw the bad bags. Xavier was the busier brother for sure!

Ah! I am so glad I found this video! I just found a burberry lookalike fabric at a thrift store today, and I'm definitely going to use this as a reference for making some miniature bags out of it!

@@danijackson2002 turns out E6000 is better than hot glue. yes, hot glue on leather is not so good. I realised it days after the project, after i upload the video

Wow this is so cool! I'd like to give a try for my fav barbie making her a set, but where did u find the "Louis Vuitton" pleather? And I dun remember if I saw it even in white and pink, or if not something similar in pink. Just one thing about glue gun, it's cool cuz it dries fast but when it's too hot or on direct sunlight it melts destroying all ur job. ☹
better use E6000. in about 3 days hot glue on leather start tearing up 😅, this is my only sin in this video, God pls forgive me. i knew it after i upload it. well at least the pattern works well

I am in the process of making this right now and my hot glue is not staying stuck to the leather. At the end when it is time to assemble the side pieces, the leather separates from the hot glue once dried. Any suggestions.
try E6000 or any stonger glue. you are right, hot glue and leather are not the best pair. mines are falling apart after few days, but my video is uploaded already. I feel so bad about this

maybe it’s just practise makes perfect, but also it is such a tiny craft
You got this idea from my froggy stuff
They have similar projects, but chose some different materials and techniques. Crafters don't seem to get too upset if a project inspires another crafter anyway. No one stole anything from anyone else. Both projects came out really well and I'm sure any of the audience members who make luggage will grab ideas from both to make their own unique style.
