My Jaw is on the Floor! I am In Love with Your TALENT! You My Dear, ARE AN ARTIST!! In every sense of the word. The paintings, the light globe, the tiny paint brush! EVERYTHING is WONDERFUL! ❤ I started doing little customizations on the kits I buy, just in the last year, I've been doing these for 3 or 4 yrs and because I'm 60 and my hands shake a bit, especially dealing with these tiny items, I have some trouble, but I just keep trying. Everyone that sees my little houses are amazed at just the little changes I make. So that makes me happy 🥰. You spend A LOT of time in not just creating these, but also in filming and editing them! Wow, just WOW! I could Gush on and on(lol), but I just want to Thank you for all of your hard work and of course your Amazing talent! Of course I'm a new subscriber and will continue to follow you. I hope you have a Super Wonderful day! ❤🥰😍🤩 Edit: I'm also going to watch as many of your builds as I can over the next few days. 😁 I'm so excited that I found you!!😉😀
Thank you so much for your lovely detailed comment and for subscribing! It’s always nice to read others’ experiences, so thank you for sharing 🥰 I find that filming and editing the video helps get the creative juices flowing by giving me a mood and image to work towards. Without the videos, even though the activity will still be fun, I don’t have anyone to share this with as most people I know are not interested in miniatures ahaha. I also love watching other people’s creations as well (all manner of arts and crafts) - and this makes me want to try out other crafts by making mini versions of other items xD I hope you have a lovely day as well and keep creating! 🥰
I had the same idea with you, creating my "dream room", but I'm not that skilled and there are so many decisions to make, that after a while I get confused. It's been almost two years now and I've changed my mind two times already of what I want to make. You see, I don't have a certain style, I'm not cottagecore or mid-century modern or victorian style type of girl. I like many things and that's making it difficult! By the latest changes, with which I'm happy, my room has a cottage/ dark academia vibe. The best desicion I made was to add floral "wallpaper" and paint the floor-to-ceiling bookcases dark brown. Also, I added real covers to some of the many books I'll put on the shelves. Your video gave me some inspiration so maybe I'll take my room out of the box and create something again!
Thank you for sharing your experience - the floral wallpaper, bookcases and real book covers sounds awesome! I’m glad this have given you some inspiration to create something again 🥰 I like many things as well and I kept changing what I wanted to make as well ahaha. It’s okay not to stick to any style - keep experimenting until you are happy! I think this is what makes it fun, creating something that is you instead of sticking strictly to any one style :)
Who says you have to build only one 'dream room'?! As a lady of eclectic tastes myself, I hardly think just one dream room will do! Why not make several~? It's not too unusual to have several dreams, or for those dreams to change and evolve with time.
I've just discovered your video and I'm glad I did!! So relaxing but informative I really enjoyed your work. I made this kit a few years ago but made it as instructions, the lighting was really difficult some of it I missed out. I love your interpretation. Can't wait for your next one. Thanks
Thank you very much for watching and leaving such a lovely comment 🥰. I agree, the lighting is one of my least favourite parts, somehow I can never quite get the wires to stay connected properly and the lights always ends up flickering, and it’s always hard trying to find a way to hide them! I’m in the final stages of the next one so it won’t be long now, I look forward to seeing you there!
Important Safety Tips: *updated 16/12/2022 - I recommend using heat shrink tubes instead of hot glue to connect the lighting wires. Even though it is unlikely in this scenario if the lights are not left on for an extended period, hot glue can melt if the wires get hot enough. Heat shrink tubes fully insulates and secures the section where the wires are joined. You can see how this is done in the lighting section of this video: ua-cam.com/video/ESTr7fg8SEA/v-deo.html *updated 15/07/2023 - Resin is toxic so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE wear nitrile gloves, work in a well ventilated area (open your windows, use a fan and/or use a ventilator that filters out organic vapours), and wear safety goggles when working with resin. I’m still learning heaps with each project and will update accordingly with the latest tips XD Other tips below: * The consistency of staining gels can be gluggy, and because it is semi-transparent, this can cause uneven staining. Because the pieces are small, I tend to stain the wood before assembling the pieces together to make it easier to ‘wipe down’ uneven areas after application * Paint on the other hand is opaque, so I think it would be better to add the paint after the assembly of the pieces. In the video I made the mistake of adding the paint before assembly while trying to leave in the pencil marks for the positioning of the pieces. This made the inside of the kitchen cabinet a bit uneven -__- (though this can be rectified by adding more layers of paint on top to even it out!)
Your video and one other for this Caravan is really great and helps me to plan what to do with mine to make it my own, :) Very cute!! I'm debating about using spray paint instead of the acrylic paint for a smoother finish. I did that on a jewelry box and it came out great.

I am also very guilty of this 😂 I see something cool/cute/pretty 🤩 🤩 I want to try and make … but I haven’t even started my list of other projects I wanna make, must tell my brain to focus and also not succumb to the temptation of buying another kit XD How is the kit you’re working on? Hello miss azukibean, long time no see! :D I was wondering what you've been up to. This was amazing! Your creativity with objects available to you is incredible; I kept pausing the video to take notes on household materials and techniques that can be used xD The first one that made my jaw drop was using the brush protectors to create small bottles of shard glitter; it's such a useful way to repurpose things you'd already have on hand from crafting! The amount of patience you have for details is something I want to replicate one day because the results are so worth it. I hope things are going well for you and life remains gentle. Das ist einfach unglaublich schön!!!! Du bist so talentiert!

Du bist so talentiert!
