Some kind of mental illness. My mate used to work in Bournemouth where they put on a tournament 20 years ago. He passed Hendry in the corridor and said hello and Hendry just ignored him. It really upset him at the time. He thought he was an arrogant prick. Just little things like that get you remembered in the wrong way. Even here Hendry doesn't look at anybody in the eye. I guess it must get tiring
It might just have been that he was so focused on his next match - even if he wasn't playing that day - that he never even noticed him anyway. Besides, some people aren't comfortable being approached, I'm one of them...doesn't make us arrogant pricks, it just means we'd rather not be approached and spoken to as if we'd known you forever, and you should respect that, rather than expecting us to accommodate you. Doesn't matter if he's a snooker player, world champion, whatever...if he isn't alright doing it, you've no right to expect him to do it, and no right to judge his character if he chooses not to.
I watched another video where he stops for a few minutes and does all the selfies and autographs - probably just had to be somewhere in a hurry on this occasion.

On the other Clip ronnie ignores the crowd maybe it was due to him leaving after a long day whilst the other players were on there way to the crucible . I hope that's the reason and not he has no time for fans .
Jimmy is a nice bloke. Met him a few times in the past. Always got time for the public and fans. I once went to a charity event and Jimmy and a few other players were there. He said fancy a couple of frames. He even mentioned what I should be doing which shots to play. I always remember that
Yes and no. They are celebrities yes they deserve respect and privacy. However it’s their fans who supports them that pays their wages so in contrast they have to do their bit by signing autographs photos shaking hands etc. it goes with the territory
