@James Woods where are your 777 centuries? There are so many weird cunts on this comment section. Who actually cares. Stephen Hendry was great in his day, Ronnie is great they have both given their life to the game of snooker. Ronnie is the best ever, in my opinion, but shooting down hendry is childish. Hope you enjoy your 11th birthday party. Enjoy the pubes and under arm hair. One day it starts growing out your nose.
JV is such a great commentator. He injects so much passion into his commentary. More he ages the better his voice. Same goes for Dennis T. Great to see that’s there’s life after retiring from snooker. Hendry is heading exactly the same way. Keep up the great work.
JV and Stephen together are great to listen to, Dennis Taylor and Ken Doherty on the other hand send me to sleep!, also John Parrott doesn't add anything always just pointing out the obvious and his attempts at humour are really cringy!
Stephen and JV are my favourite commentators. Love Rob Walker, he was great every time I went to the Crucible, gets the crowd into it before the match starts. I remember him introducing Brendan Moore for his first ever match at the Crucible, thought he was a good ref from the first time I saw him. Will be sad to see him go.
10:38 Ive only been to the Crucible once back in 2008, I was in the front row on table 1 watching Ronnie in the first round against a young Chinese lad, and I gotta admit, Rob Walkers opening presentation actually gave me chills and made me really feel like I was part of something! his enthusiasm is top notch
I loved seeing AND hearing Virgo & Stephen in the booth! ☺️ After hearing them for so many years it’s so cool to watch them talking for a few seconds during a match 👏👏 Also, sticking a mic in Walker’s face was very deserving .. 😅 he works hard sure, but I’ve often thought that he isn’t as cognizant as Hazel or others when interviewing the losers .. he has too big a smile on his face and it’s not appropriate in those situations. Anyways great tour in the great building!! 👍
The Mecca of snooker the crucible theatre Sheffield.......where tears of elation and pain are etched in its legendary history, ....the drama , the excitement , the pain and the ecstasy from all the great players that have graced this sacred coliseum of snooker
Wonderful video. Long before the land of Sky Sports. This was my life. This was my childhood. Age 9 and in awe of the ‘85 final and early teens watching Stephen dominate the ‘90s. Wonderful, wonderful memories. And a more simple World. No mobile, social media. Less stress, more contentment.
Stephen is a natural, everything he has done after his snooker career, he is exceptional, Stephen would have been a huge success in any endevour he chose.
Fantastic back room footage! You Guys do a great Job! My Grandma always said you were almost as Good as Steve Davis!😂 now my Son Luke and I play and watch lots of your content! Brilliant! 👍 and a special shout out to Rob! 😊 all the Best Chris originally from Burton on Trent
Fantastic as always. Your videos are just fantastic Stephen. It's not only the real insight and knowledge though, for me what really makes them is all that but combined with real warmth, humour and humility. So humble and down to earth for a player who is undoubtedly one of if not the best players ever
Enjoyed the little chat with Rob Walker. He really is very adept when it comes to interviewing players when passions are high and he is a great commentator and MC. He doesn't get enough appreciation at all.
Superb! I always wondered what it must be like to walk down those steps and past the table. Thank you Stephen for such a thoughtful tour for the fans! :)
Best bit of the video for me was 17:23. As someone who has been pondering whether or not to get a ticket for next year's champs, this has tipped the balance. Gives you a good perspective of the view you get from up there.
This was amazing Stephen. I've always wanted to know what's it like. Where do I get Ur ideas from. BBC and Eurosport need u in charge....u give the fans what they want....impressed how u know better than TV bosses what people Wana see!! Thankyou Stephen thoroughly enjoyed as always. Amazing channel....
I met Rob Walker at the Lakeside World Darts a few years ago, he was a true gent. Always puts his all into the job. Thanks for the upload, it's great to get an insight as to what goes on at the home of snooker.
Loves the tour around the crucible been watching it for years and always wanted to see what it was like back stage awesome content Stephen keep them coming
Thanks for the video Stephen! It's really great, offering us for a glimpse behind the scenes. It seems like you have emotional ties to the place, memories in every room, which makes the video special. I have a dream of taking my father there. Hopefully I can make it happen in the near future!
The footage of the commentary happening live is so fascinating. We're seeing things that we've never been able to see before as snooker fans, really great stuff
Thanks for the tour Stephen. As a youngster who lived and dreamed snooker I always wished I was going to be there one day. It never happened for me....I would have loved to have your talent.
Stephen really knows how to make things more entertaining from a snooker fan perspective. This was a really good video, very insightful of the goings on behind the "Iron Curtain" of the legendary Crucible Theatre! Nice One.👍
@@wayneanthonyholmes4437 You really are starting to make me laugh now, honestly, do you not have anything else better to do? Everyone knows how good Hendry was in his prime, no one is asking for your opinion all the time. Pretty sad really, but highly laughable now when I see you post with your fakeness, gives me a good old chuckle....🍿😂
Great video. After having tickets for the World Championship that got cancelled due to COVID, really want to go next year. Videos like this only whet the appetite!

I think every snooker fan out there wants another Stephen Hendry run. All the best my man. Love your UA-cam channel and grew up idolising yi my man. Where’s the cue ball going
The place seems a lot bigger than I thought. I know places always look bigger through a wide angle lens, but still it seems odd that some players complain that it's too small. And the number of corridors is amazing - you could easily get lost, I think.
King of the Crucible! 29 matches unbeaten run, most centuries in a single tournament(16)and the highest win rate there. Legend.
Ronnie is better
