One thing to note: the advertised wheel width is from bead seat to beat seat, not lip to lip, so you need to add an inch for tire width if you want square tire fitment. If you install a 12.50 wide tire on a 12 wide wheel, the tire is gonna be slightly stretched cuz the wheel is actually 13 inches wide.
I ordered Bora spacers from u guys while back. For my rear on GMC Sierra. Work great. Was nervous at first cus never had spacers but they are the real deal
How bad does that setup destroy your paint with rock chips from the wide wheels? Im debating between 22×12 or 22×10 but am nervous of how bad wide tires throw up rocks & other stuff
Been running bora spacers on two different trucks without an issue. However, I also install them correctly. STOP using loctite, just torque properly! I use anti seize on all studs since I’m in the rust belt and I’ve never had an issue. Currently I have 1.25 bora spacers on my 21 trail boss so I can have just a little poke with my 295/70/18. I’m not big into super wide wheels and rubber band tires since I use my truck for off-road use occasionally.
Just be careful with anti seize due to not getting a true torque reading and can break studs due to over torquing. I used to see that here and there at the dealer as I was young, but for your situation I totally understand why you do it! 👍🏻
I think we should talk about what wide tires means for those of us who drive in snow and heavy rain. I'm running 35" wheels on 12.5" wides on a 4" lift. If tires are new, snow and rain traction is fine, but good luck once the tread is worn down to half or less. Then, you got a beefy truck that can't handle the conditions. It's no better than driving a Honda Civic in the snow. Actually, it's worse. If you like buying tires every 25K miles, go with wide tires. Otherwise, you got a big truck that needs to be garaged in lousy weather. I LOVE the look, but love busting thru snow and heavy rain without feeling like I'm gonna die alot more. Just sayin.
I have had 33” MT tires that are 12.5” wide on my 2014 Sierra since I bought it new and never had an issue in the rain or snow, and I live in the Pacific Northwest where it rains 8 months out of the year. I’m on my 3rd set of tires now as well. Might just be the brand you’re buying or operator error.
If im not wrong, the wider the wheel the more negative offset. So even if it's the same tire, your 12 wide will stick out more & will have a stance look.
I like the wide wheels but I'm a get the right offset guy. Never been a fan of spacers or pushing my wheels out where there not supposed to be. Never seemed safe to me.😬
Of course I want to run at least a 2 inch spacer but wheel spacer war stories can scare a guy. Lol. I would love to have some chrome Arkon Caesars and I’ll get them one day. Until then I’ll keep lusting over all the wheels you carry. Lol. Thanks guys.
Spacers can look cool. And I understand for the purpose of offset wheels. But the super spaced out and low pro tires is so lame. I think it’s badass yo have some meaty tires
I used to run wide wheels 22s but seriously a 22 24 and 26 Wheels are things of the past they don't look good anymore they give you nothing but problems your ball joints and any rubber wears out faster not to mention you cannot turn or do you turn without rubbing bigger Wheels make sure right run like a dump truck that's why I went from stock wheel size with a negative 18 offset with 35 or 37-in tires right quality is a lot better
Definitely do not cheap out on wheel spacers. Had a custom Forgiauto fly across the freeway when we were towing around 22k pounds on our 5th wheel hitch

Would a 12 wide -44 and a 2 inch wherl spacer achieve the same amount of stance as a 14 wide -81? ...im currently running 12 wides _44 and I have 2 Inch wheel spacers for my winter stock wheels ...if I put them on with my 12 wides would that stick out the same amount? I'm asking because I want to see if I could run 14 wides without much more trimming .
I am still rolling on stock wheels on my 2010 Silverado. I am trying to find that perfect fit for what I am looking for. These are some tough choices. I am currently on a level kit and wanting to do a 3.5” lift. Would 20x12 with a -44 be good with 33” tires. Or could I go up to a 22x12 with 35’s.

Hell yea!
-44 offset on all my truck builds with 6in lift. On my 4th truck 2022 ram rebel gt. Probably going to run 20×12 12.5, 35s -44 offset

Stupid question but does a 12.5 wide tire on a 12 wide wheel measure the same/look the same as the same 12.5 wide tire on a 9 wide wheel?
If im not wrong, the wider the wheel the more negative offset. So even if it's the same tire, your 12 wide will stick out more & will have a stance look.
I run 12” wides with a 2” spacer and I’m happy
Why not just get 14 wides?
@@Jgon-92 truck would need a higher lift and cutting, not gonna do that on my TrailBoss
@@marklange8495 #stoptruckabuse. Lmfao say no to cutting. Lol
how is it thinking of doing that. What brand did u get.
I run a billet aluminum spacer hopefully they hold up
Should be fine if properly installed!

I want to run wider tires, I currently run 20x10 but its not doing it for me anymore I want more poke haha so im looking at 22x12's
Let’s go! 😎
Definitely do not cheap out on wheel spacers. Had a custom Forgiauto fly across the freeway when we were towing around 22k pounds on our 5th wheel hitch
Jeesh that sounds like a nightmare
Custom offsets would you think 22x14 -86 are to far out in your opinion on an 8” lift 2008 gmc sierra
All personal preference!
How much of a spacer do you need so you don't need to modify the lugs and go back stock if needed???
This depends on the truck, but typically its about 2" or so. -Dustin
2" or more. Maybe slightly less.. but don't count on it
How much do I have to lift my 2015 f150 platinum to be able to fit 22's x 12's with 33's

It’ll be very similar in fitment to a 14 wide
