- Thanks to a display at SDCC, we finally have a look at the original "Big Chap" Alien as it will appear in Alien Romulus along with some of the figures coming from NECA toys. #alienromulus #alien #disney

Also, the cocoon has been tethered to Ripley's shuttle through the harpoon gun thingy. That's how they got it. You can actually see Ripley's shuttle drifting away from the station.
Yep, I reckon they realise it's Ripley as well and to try to cover things up they take the big chap and just let her drift off.

Maybe the Big Chap will be the real villain of the film, because if he is sealed inside that caccoon and it will open somehow, Rain and her crew will deal with something much worse than a Lab-Made Xenomorph.
The lab xeno is literally a better designed xeno for killing tho

It’s an open secret, but I hope they would release a short video before the movie about how WY captured the Asteroid and how they find it in the first place and the experiments they did on and how they lost control which led to the Romulus station being abandoned or deserted, much like the Crossing video before Alien Covenant
Why do they keep changing the design of the xeno?
A little gold alien with a Yiddish accent said it best:

Ripley shot the alien out into space by hitting it with that grappling hook gun. Perhaps the projectile has a tracking element or chip of some sort built into it that would allow the company to locate the device. They already have a general idea where the Nostromo was when it was destroyed.
This sounds like it confirms that David could be considered the creator of the xenos.

He didn't create them as the derelict on lv 426 thousands of years old he tried to copy the blue print from the engineers

I LOVE this, as it will force the nay-sayers to accept the general plotline of Prometheus and Covenant, both of which I loved. Great! And is still retains the main question: did the Engineers create the Xenos from scratch or did they, too, "retrieve" whatever substance they came from? And if so, from where? THAT is where we need to go from here. Let someone like Nolan or Villeneuve tackle that thread!

it looks amazing. Scorched Xenomorph looks GREAT!! i don't give a POO about 'THE BIG CHAP' ive already got him 4 times....LET new ones come through ..its all H.R.Gigers DESIGN anyway.
