Thanks for sharing, the only change I would make is to add a carbon spar as a wing joiner instead of those little tabs, lots of pressure being inserted on that part of the wing during flight, might see a wing fold on you if you get a little crazy during a flight.
Hey bud! Thanks for watching! So eclipson made this with a 3d printed spar not just the tabs I was just really bad at getting the right footage, so it has a spar in it, carvon definitely going to be stronger but I have had more flights on this than jsut what I've shown and yes I've gone a bit crazy and still yet to see it fold, This is my second model from eclipson thag uses a 3dp spar the other one is the cobra and my cobra has had over 40 flights now and it's going strong 😊
Bahahahah yeah, 3m something is a standard measure! 😂 😂😂 Good luck with urs it's a pretty quick print I must say very easy to put together except for that twin boom rudder assembly, can get a bit fiddly getting it just right
Hey, Eclipson designs don't use infill in most of their profiles because they design the entire thing including the internal structures, in fact, this is what makes them very compatible with vase mode it's a lot more work for the designer, but the result is a great model! IN their site they have the parameters you need to use for the model :) Good luck if you decide to print it
Since it doesn't use carbon rods I assume you could try, it's not specifically said by the designer, but you can probably try it and see how you go, You'd probably have to make sure you have a big enoguh printer cause scaling the parts could result in much larger pieces and since it's designed for vase mode splitting them may not work You'll also need to design siemthing for servo holders
@ I don’t think any of those will be an issue for me. I just have a spare 70mm QX motor edf and I’m looking for a cheap, simple, fun project to use it for. They aren’t the greatest edf’s in the world so I don’t want to use it on a more expensive build. What edf are you using in yours? Looked like an XFly

I'm just gonna set the timer to.......3min and....something 😂. Great stuff thanks for the video. Can't wait to print this model

Thanks for showing us...I made one in PLA & LWPLA
Thank yiu for watching! Let me know how it goes with the pla version! 👍
Nice flight and review - I’m starting to feel a need for a 3d printer 🤔😁
Haha I hear ya! You’ll be on the lookout for a printer in no time 😉
what slicer you use I got a bambu slicer how much infill you use.

Can this be scaled up for a 70mm?

I'm eventually going to try it as i have a 70mm & 64mm @JoeyscustomRC
@@crazyaces9586 let me know if you end up doing a 70mm how it turns out
