Cape Cod awesome! Anyway it’s now 2021 and I just bought these tires, wish I’d have watched this video first, these Pro-line TSL SX 2.2’s may work great in some terrain .. but they are unrealistically waaaay too wide. Wish RC tire makers would go easy on the width and make their tires width more like their real world counterparts.
Today, my fellow brethren...I purchased the Holy Crap These Are Huge Tires....aaaannnnd yesssss they are bitchin... RC Overload, thank you for the time and effort you put in to your videos. You help me a lot...keep it rad man!
Hey! Sooo I remember having the same tires on my 1981 short bed Chevy 4x4 with 3/4 ton running gear...mud wheeling SOB! Thank you for sharing, now I can have the same bad ass tires on my Ridgecrest! Hopefully they mount on my Gmade Beadlocks...
Coming along AWSOME Matt!!!! Your REALLY making me want a YETI!!!! I keep going back and forth between a Wraith and Yeti... My son has a Wraith and its a lot of fun... I'd really like to see how the Yeti does in the trails and some crawling...hint hint....
I bought the super swampers for my Arrma Granite last night and also for my axial ryft same tires I have my actual truck 😂 which is awesome. I run the swampers on alot of my rc trucks both bashers and crawlers ect I love em and can't forget about the stickys 😂
im really late to these videos, only just got into the hobby in the last six months and have a yeti. my question is what shock oil weight or cst do you use? my yeti doesn't rebound like that or sit like that or have i build the shocks wrong currently I'm using standard weights . love you work RC Overload
devolutiondav Thompson Haha, its all about patients buddy and what you didn't see was the several screw ups on the other tires I had made before making this video...Haha ;)
1972bmac I Cant wait to take mine out to test them....Half to wait for the 3 feet of snow to melt first thought..Haha....But honestly im not sure if you can use shoe goo... I know CA Glue hold to rubber the best. but I haven't tried Shoe Goo Yet.
I'm really enjoying this series and considering getting the Yeti even more after each video. I'm curious as to what's in your tool box. Have you done a video on must-have tools for doing this kind of work?
+Sean O'Halloran not yet. I myself am actully still building up my tool sets... lol when i have a decent amount of tool ill most likly do a video based on that. But thank you. Glad you fibd these videos usefull!
I know you didn't use the vanquish hubs but, from looking at the ones I got a couple days ago, it looks like you need a bearing to them to hold onto the hex. Any idea on what size they would be? Also, sick truck!!
I have a problem and any info would be appreciated. Bought the massive super swampers for my axial 1/10 yeti. Problem is the front tires stick out farther than the back tires. What 12mm hex hub adapter for the rear is bigger than the stock? What brand or store sells them? thanks.
can I bash these or are these crawler-tires? I look for some basher-tires for the Rock Rey. I mean you drove them now, are they to soft for higher speed ? Do they heavily baloon?
How's it goin man, I've been in the hobby for 25+ yrs mostly racing. Was wondering how your tires held to the rims as I didn't know that I can glue tires to aluminum wheels? Truck looks insane, keep up the awesome vids man, peace.

James Dean Haha no problem man, and they should mount up fine.
That is the most awesome Axial Yeti I have ever seen. Nice work. You have a very keen attention to detail. Subscribed.
Jason E Thank you very much!

That is some awesome looking wheels and tires!
TOJO RC Thanks man! Took me a wile to find a rim that I thought would look like it would work well on this rig!
I am using the 2.2 method beadlock wheels and ended up trimming foam because the bead kept slipping while screwing the rim together but it looks great
Those tires look like they'll get Amazing grip!!!
Cooldibs Ya! I am totally stoked to see how well they do!
@@RCOverloadYT hey man, hope you and you’re family are doing great! Miss ya👍
I would love to see a vid of those 2.2" XL Super Swampers on the 1/16 e-revo, though i'm sure you would need to gear it down a little.
Colin Page That would be awesome! However even if I was to try I don't think the wheel base is far enough apart to keep the tires from touching.
That looks sweet. I have to say, I do prefer the term fancy dancy little tool as opposed to cross wrench. ;)
Theibault Haha I agree, from now on that is what I will call it, the "fancy dance little tool"! Haha....That is NOT what she said! ;)

They are huge tires! You are 100 times better at gluing tires then me lol.
devolutiondav Thompson Haha, its all about patients buddy and what you didn't see was the several screw ups on the other tires I had made before making this video...Haha ;)
Lol.
You need to use the Gearhead hubs with the Gearhead wheels. I went with .005's and they fit perfectly.
I love those tires, I have them on my Wraith.
Could you use shoe goo insteed of tire/ca glue?

Hey i got a yeti thats basically new the guy never used it but one time but he put proline yeti rims. Will vanquish hubs bolt to proline rims

+Owen Rogers I am actually using Vanquish hubs. and no you wont need a bearing. they should fit on with no problems and bolt up to the stock rims.
+RC Overload ok thanks for the info
Are these tires hard to mount to Vanquish wheels?
I have a problem and any info would be appreciated. Bought the massive super swampers for my axial 1/10 yeti. Problem is the front tires stick out farther than the back tires. What 12mm hex hub adapter for the rear is bigger than the stock? What brand or store sells them? thanks.

Will the hubs you got bolt on my rims
What foams did you use what’s the weight of you’re yeti
So did the tires help the Yeti stay on all fours better than the stock tires while making turns? Especially when running thru grass
+Rokhound21 Yes they did.
Can I run them on the torment?
Looooooooooooooove does tires man they are awesome
NUNO RODRIGO TUGASCALERS They are definitely badass! :)
do the hubs and the hub spacers come with all four rims? or do you have to buy them separate from the rims?
***** Separate. I have posted links in the description box.
did you have to trim your foams down
nope still running stock size foams
+RC Overload oh crap
I cut them down to fit the stock rims
but still didn't work
so wondered if the proline memory foam foams would fit
don't know how many people are around in mass but i'm in central mass and would be interested in getting together for a meet.
which gearhead hubs did you get std
plus .250
plus .375
plus .500
