the original song by the weeknd was about a lonely guy who wants to bang somebody, and that's the only reason that he calls her. This song, thanks to the male and female voices, tells more of a story about two people who use each other instead of one person using somebody else. Much more emotionally driven and heartfelt. B R E N N A N i feel like rock in itself is a very arbitrary term, doesn't really have much of a definitive definition. I'm tired of people saying on all types of music "this isn't true rock" there's no such thing as "True rock" if the band says it's rock, i think at point in modern music the lines have blurred enough to let the statement stand, if they say it's a rock cover, it's rock.
