I'm a huge Boba Fett fan, but I was really disappointed with Temuera Morrison's portrayal. No one wants to see a "dad bod" Fett! Disney should have created a chronicles-style show featuring a younger actor as Boba. This would have showcased how agile, feared, and strong Boba Fett was, with Temuera Morrison providing narration and recalling his adventures.
Disney played it safe because they were afraid to destroy Boba Fett's popularity. They created The Mandalorian, which became a hit show. Realizing the potential for a quick profit, they rushed into making a subpar Boba Fett series, and it ultimately failed.
