Port supporter here - there was only one team out there last night that deserved to win, and they won it. Kudos to Crows, and congrats on your career Sloaney!
@@chriscoyne4827 Coach is a charlatan. Inexcusable to select a player under an injury cloud. Port routinely get what they deserve, which is very little. Their depth is laughable and their mental fragility on full display once again. Hopefully they continue to perform in this manner to fast track his exit.
@@Jamie_one_of_many_prophets yep spot on they need a really good clean out in that coaching box. He knew the mistake he had made he knew he was under a injury cloud so why risk it. Now his out for 5 weeks plus. So the question is who will replace him in the midfield.
How good was that win. Adelaide now lead the showdowns 28-27, and have won the last 3. It was a great team performance. They shut out Port out of the game. Soligo has been a revelation; he’s had a great month. The Crows pressure was excellent and so was their backline, particularly Worell and Butts. Keane has played less than 20 games and looks so confident with ball. Impressive win. Shoutout to the legend Rory Sloane too.
Congratulations to you. It seemed to me that you beat them in a similar way to the way we beat you in Rnd 2. It would be quite the compliment if youse are trying to play like us. If i recall correctly, isn't this the first time the Crows have ever led the head-to-head tally?? If so, this truly is "history in the making!" We Are Geelong.
Disappointing that Ken thought it would be a good decision to risk his captain for the whole season just for the showdown and they got pumped still, Rocks in his head.
Hinkley is a charlatan. He is willing to risk an essential player because he has little to no faith in the squad. It is inarguable Port lack depth but to risk the captain is inexcusable. It would be in Port’s best interest for them not to make the finals this year as they would be simply making up the numbers. Having the blowtorch turned up will hopefully fast track his exit.
Crows fan here. I'm not writing off Ports year. They needed to kick a little more accurately I think to put presser back on the Crows. Long way to go for both clubs. Right now, (and I thought this last week before this game) that the Crows will have a great year. They have lost in close games to good teams, so they are there and there abouts.
Rankine was a big chance to win the medal - Also Max and Keane bloody good last night- well done soligo smashed in all night Finally played to our standard Great win boys
That's that for sure. Port are not coming back from this. No more finals for us. Watch port slump to 15th or so. Where I initially had Geelong placing this year. What a shame.
To Dangerfield - See how much love and respect ONE CLUB CHAMPIONS GET !!! BIG RESPECT RORY !!! what a stupid sentiment. Danger played and served the Crows very well, made sure when leaving that the Crows got a fair trade currency for himself (not wanting to burn bridges). He's probably still good mates with Tex and Sloan for all you know too. Meanwhile, he's gone onto the Cats, become captain, won a Brownlow and a GF.

Port out coached week in week out the minor round kings. Crumble and chock every time we are challenged by a big club or make the finals. Port Adelaide we are perthetic poor selection port magpies looks like a under 19s team get a coach that demands success
Rarely, maybe if the ball is kicked into the crowd after the siren. Crowd normally hands the balls back to the players or the ball handlers near the goal posts.
Another pitiful performance by Port. Port’s lack of depth is apparent once again. Port’s shambolic forward line is laughable. They possess the following: a geriatric strongman who cannot take a leading make because he is hobbled, Caspar (McEntee) doesn’t appear to do anything and Marshall who appears to be scared of the ball and refuses to take a mark with his arms outstretched. What compelled Port to play Rozee? The risk playing him simply isn’t worth it long-term. I don’t understand their defensive system? Far too often they are caught out of position. Forward half press simply isn’t working as Port are a poor two-way running team and their taller players struggle with ground ball gets. Port season is effectively over. They don’t have the depth or a system to compete against an opposition slightly above average.
I don’t understand port, there on top of the ladder and then they get some low team and port performs like a bottom team every year. Port are not as good as people say
Port are pretenders. In all but one game this year, they have struggled against lowly teams. Port losing against the Crows, is the season effectively over.
@@Jamie_one_of_many_prophets I agree with you, people say Carlton are overrated, man port even more overrated, there's something about port that's missing
@@matthewnorman9803 Carlton is a complete team. They possess two strong marking forwards, a well balanced mid-field and a reasonable defence although they need to tighten up defensively.
Yet another week of disappointing kicking from Port, they won most of the key areas around the ground yet their conversion rate was still subpar and what ultimately let them down.
Rankine thinking that's his pocket is actually sad, I feel sorry for him while Betts probably sitting in Fox Footy laughing (coming from a Hawks supporter so Crom fans don't come after me I'm not a Port fan)
