This is one of the coolest boss themes that Pokemon has ever introduced. There's so much suspense and drama; perfect balance of background instruments and leads. Sounds like something that could legitimately appear in RPG combat games as a boss theme. Like seriously, epic. That violin writing is so awesome.
It sounds something like SuperiorLarxane made which is awesome! I LOVE it! But it still won't beat Team Aqua/Magma Boss music though since its number one. But this theme is #2 though. ^.^
It _is_ a remake, so really the thought that went into personalities and storyline had already been done for them... except for new megas and the delta episode, ORAS wasn't that much different from the original ruby and sapphire except for shiny new 3d graphics.

Well it's been around but it was upgraded. Also I love this argument. It one thing if the game is naturally hard. It's another thing if I have to make it hard. I mean I can sit there playing my game complaining about how annoying grinding is or I can turn on the exp share.
Zinnia tells in the end that there is a region...Hoenn...that is exactly like the one you're playing in. But in that Hoenn region...Pokemon took a different path...a path where mega evolving is non existant....making clear that POKEMON OR,AS,X AND Y ARE A DIFFERENT TIMELINE EVER SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE EXISTANCE OF POKEMON. AND THAT R,B,Y,G,S,C,R,S,E,D,P,PL,B,W,B2 AND W2 ARE NOT PART OF IT....B2 AND W2 ARE THE END OF THE TIMELINE.....OH MY GOD
Makes me wonder if Cyrus managed to actually succed in his plan of rewriting the universe while inside Giratina's distortion world (despite not erasing what he wanted to destroy).
Zinnia has a female Whismur called Aster. She has referred to Aster as her daughter on at least one occasion. On top of Sky Pillar, we learn that Aster was a real person, somebody close to Zinnia who supposedly died. The Whismur is named after her. Does Zinnia have a dead daughter? Dark stuff, Game Freak. Dark stuff. I love it.
I've seen theories that Aster could have been her daughter, her sister, her childhood friend or her girlfriend. In all honesty, any of these could be true. Given that 'daughter' comment and the fact that Whismur is particularly known for its crying (I think it's unusual that she'd warm to a Whismur, given that she trains dragons... which says to me the Whismur represents someone, maybe a child), I personally prefer the theory that Aster was her daughter who died when she was very young.
According to the Manga, Aster was Draconid Lore Keeper before Zinnia, and was meant to be the one to summon Rayquaza. Aster was her friend, and the two were very close, but Aster died before she ever got the chance to fulfill her duty, and Zinnia was made lorekeeper in her place. This is why she's so gleeful when she actually manages to summon Rayquaza, and so distraught when she cannot get it to Mega Evolve, She believes she's failing both her task and her friend's memory.

This a really good boss theme. Was playing this in the background while facing a difficult boss in another game and it sure was epic XD Hope she has a tough team to beat in game so the true potential of this track can be brought out.

Zinnia was a great character. And Episode Delta was amazing. That cutscene of Mega Rayquaza smashing the meteor to pieces, Deoxys coming out (like it did in the Birth Island with the black triangle), the homage to the GBA track of Rayquaza coming down to quell Groudon and Kyogre in Emerald for the beginning of the episode and it being remixed for Sky Pillar. Perfect! Just perfect! >9,000/10 Too much epicness.

All I can say, is that this is possibly the greatest theme GF have made. The battle that came with it was a bit disappointing though, all you had to do was use dragon pulse on all her pokemon and BOOM! You win. I wish we battled her BEFORE catching Rayquaza so she was a bit more of a challenge.

No clue why, but this theme really reminds me of professor Sycamore's theme. For a good long minute, I thought this (or something like it) was his battle theme.

Me when fighting Mega Rayquaza: All of my Pokemon were dead except Lopunny. It had 15 HP. Lopunny used High Jump Kick! Mega Rayquaza avoided the attack! Lopunny ket going and crashed! Lopunny fainted! Me: Well, fuck. Time to reset!

What an astonishing theme for such an anticlimatic battle. I raged when they literally forced me to exchange one of my Pokémon for Rayquaza and even put it to the front! Why should I fight the last trainer battle in the goddamn post-game with an overpowered legendary I just caught which manages to OHKO each and every of Zinnia's Pokémon and I'm never gonna use again instead of with my team that I raised for over 40 hours? It would make this battle so much more intense, but like this, it doesn't deserve the hype and suspension that was built up during the whole Delta Episode, and it certainly doesn't deserve this theme.
Zinnia is an antagonist...? I never played the game up to her yet, but I don't think she'd he an antagonist. Also, Cynthia is anything but an antagonist, really.

AlmightyArceus definately something you would hear from a major mmo final boss, it just has the coolness, suspense, and tense parts all in the music.

I love the opening sequence, kind of falls off but that doesn't really matter at all since you'll be too focused in the fight when that happens.
