Together with the many iconic photos of slipknot you have taken over the last 25 years, this is also a great shot from the Jägermeister'04 tour. Recordings of these have become really rare. Thank you for sharing with us fans.
this gem was so unexpected, thank you so much for the upload! it's unbelievable how small the clubs were on the jägermeister tour. i saw them a few weeks later at the show at the roseland ballroom in nyc
Always wanted to see some good footage of these early vol3 shows where clown was still wearing the full mask instead of the version with the top cut out . This version was so much cooler. Thanks for the upload
@@133MHz-5also if you skip to around 19:16 you see the tumour inflated which is pretty cool, it was fitted with a little plastic tube so he could blow the tumour up when he wanted to like on the album art pictures
Bullcrap. 1. This record is mainly still NÜ Metal. 2. Iowa was the opposite of mainstream friendly and it was an instant success. They would’ve been fine regardless of if they went the streamlined route or not.
@@elijahechicagobearsboyd5734 Iowa was a success because it came out in a time when nu-metal was still madly popular. If Iowa came out in 2004 like Vol 3, it wouldn't have been as a big of a success. By the time Vol 3 came out, nu-metal was on its last legs and most nu-metal bands were changing their sound and preparing for a new direction and a post nu-metal era and Slipknot was no exception. 2003-2005 produced some of the best crossover nu-metal albums though. Vol 3 is incredibly underrated and musically still holds up as their most ambitious album. Blossomed into a very dynamic band and makes an album like Iowa look quite immature in comparison.
Fran - thanks so much for posting, as many others have mentioned. Sorry to ask - do you have ANYTHING from the San Francisco show? May 13, 2004 at the Regency. It was my first concert at age 14 and I don't think they were originally scheduled to play there as the early tour promotional items didn't show the city - only the Sacramento date, instead. I would be forever grateful if you had anything to upload. THANK YOU!
@@warwick02 I definitely was there! I’m pretty sure I do. Be patient with me as I am just plowing through hundreds of tapes and digitizing them all. Be on the lookout for more. I also shot tons of photos you can see on my IG @franstrine

I’m not a collector. I’ve been touring for the past 24 years and went on to making films and just started going through my archive and thought I’d share a bit of them. Enjoy.

@@andreimatheus9306yeah Jagermeister tour happened before the album was released. 💯
Thank you for sharing this, must have been cool to see Slipknot in this timeline during Vol 3.
Those stages look tiny to say the least.

Great vid man! New sub here, thanks for bringing forth these beautiful memories from the old Knot
This has to be the best the band ever played. Super tight, blast beats perfect.
Ooooh shit! What a cool rare never before seen upload.
Dare I argue that Corey sounds like his 2002 self here a bit?
Wow, maybe it's time for some Vol.3 action, so cool!
What you used to do while touring with them at the time?

Are there any records of Slipknot live in 2004/2005 at Phoenix Arizona or Las Vegas?

Do you happen to have a recording from the Worcester, MA April 10th, 2004 show?
I was there and it’d be killer to be able to re-live it again.

I’d even send you a tip… just throwing that out there haha
