4 Phase Install System
1. Base Work
We source base materials that are designed to last and use them to provide a solid foundation for the grass. Crushed rock and grano offer the ideal base for artificial grass whilst also providing a robust drainage system. We also cement 2”x2” plastic battens around the perimeter of the garden to reinforce the grass once installed.
2. K9 Turf Proflow Urethane Backing Artificial Grass:
Our patented proflow urethane backing features four different layers which are designed to eliminate the issues perforated backings suffer. The backing also improves the turf’s drainage capacity by up to 400%. With K9 Turf ProFlow Backing, grass is therefore cleaner, more sanitary and odour free.
3. K9 Turf Zeolite Infill
K9 Turf infill is an organic, porous material which absorbs toxic gases and excess liquids. It therefore acts as an additional barrier against the build-up of harmful bacteria. The infill also cools the surface of the grass during warmer months, which is ideal for pets in summer.
4. K9 Turf Enzyme Cleaner
K9 Turf artificial grass cleaner is designed to penetrate the grass to sanitise each layer. The natural enzymes break down bacteria allowing it easily rinse away. It also keeps those nasty odours at bay and is 100% animal friendly.

Not for me. So many people are realising now that artificial grass succumbs to mother nature, and becomes infested with weeds and moss, which are much more difficult to eradicate, than would be from a natural lawn. Look good at first, but Mr's nature will change all that.

How hot does this grass get in the summer? I went to a garden centre and touched some artificial grass last summer and it was so hot I wouldn't let dogs walk on it

I don't understand why Zeolite is critical. It holds urine in the surface. Why not prefer urine to flow through the artificial grass, and be absorbed and penetrate the layer underneath into the compacted infill?
