Feeling very glad that we have a girl who can take the pride of being a Sri Lankan to the entire world in the future. I respect the parents and their attitude to show the reality of a rural village life which is prevailing in Sri Lanka . It had been a while since I'd been able to watch one of these beautifully made videos. I realize now how much I missed them. The photography is perfect and the fact that there's no narration or distracting music in the background -- just the wonderful sounds of nature and the cooking process -- is so relaxing. The food is so nutritionally perfect (if only the whole world ate like this) and the goodness of your souls in donating this food is heart-warming. Dianna Marie I see people commenting about that and I don’t think they realize how rude and extremely condescending they sound, especially comments like “get her some f****** cutting utensils” or “using a cutting board and knife is easier.” It makes western people seem so ignorant and self-absorbed.

There is a woman in Africa with 30 plus children and she would defiantly benefit from some of the cooking tools, pots and baskets. I’m not sure how but I wish I could get her some of these same tools. Seems like it would be life changing in how she feeds her village. Her life was filmed and I happen to see it last week and it just worried me that the ppl filming got all this information from her but didn’t seem to help make anything easier as far as how she could operate her meals for all of her children. 😔
