IMHO knowing stoichiometric N : P ratio is extremely useful but not at all about specific numbers

Many many years ago one of these OG reefers use to describe the dusty algae on our glass is natural plankton spawns....and we should accept it rather than always dose some....some years later I've never heard this theory anymore....I'm still curious about it
