    I think this is a very solid choice for a large camp knife.
    It does lose some chopping power from the shorter blade, the regular Junglas is more powerful, but it’s not as if the Junglas II is fatiguing. Basically it’s got enough power on the chop to build shelters, while being less fatiguing in the hand for finer work.
    This could be a really solid choice.

      Hey, just noticed on your video, a couple times, but particularly at 15:03 the knife not aligning with those tkc scales. I think you may have them backwards. I have several tkc scales too and they should not fit like that. Check them out.

    Good review. I think people overlook a lot of good knives just because of their size. There are a lot of large knife that can do all around task.

    Kewl vid. G10, Strong, indestructable. What have they done to give traction on the handles? I have G19 I made for my Beckers, but rather slick if my hands are dry. Any chance you may come up to Wa for the overland rally in June? It's in plain, right next to Leavenworth. I am teaching a knife, axe and fire starting class there. Hope to see you there. I contacted painted hills leather because I really like your sheath. A lady named Melanie returned my email very quickly. Seem like they will be very good to work with. A question i have for you is, will the pocket on the front of your sheath hold an altoids style tin? It looks plenty long, but I'm not sure about the width. Thanks!

    I am a beginner. What is Bushcraft in your opinion? And how someone gets started?

    • @ochocobushcraft1742
      @ochocobushcraft1742  4 роки тому

      For me, Bushcraft is the mastering of both traditional and primitive wilderness skills so i can thrive in the woods and be close to nature. For example, most people would never wander into the forest when they know a winter storm is coming. I get excited and go out build a lean to, a nice fire, sit back and drink hot cocoa and watch the storm!
      As far as getting started, watch you tube videos on bushcraft and practice what you see. I learned my knots from you tube and many other skills. The best way of all is to get some training with others who are experienced. See if their are any schools in your state. Where do you live?
