Don’t apologize… I say yes because it’s easier for the braider to braid it with it tangling … and if you don’t want to blow dry it try stretching it doing the rubber band method
Hey! So that means the braiding hair you are adding isn’t smooth or your grip isn’t good on the hair… have you tried the wrap method? I’ll do a video dedicated to this for you

I have such a hard time keeping my braid neat throughout without pulling too tight. The cornrow itself is neat but the hair underneath bunches 😩
You may have to add a little more product to seal your mold first
