Nice one 👍 always something to be doing to keep the job flowing. It's grand every now and then heading away home when it is too wet and having a lazy day. But when it's a few days each week, it becomes a pain in the arse and you end up falling behind on schedule. At the end of the day, the mortgage needs paying, and the family needs to be fed. Its grand for some fellas to be telling you head home when they still live in mammy's box bedroom with no bills and rent 😂 keep the good work going mate and the summer is upon us soon so hang in there 🎉🫡👷♂️
You remind me of my boss when i was an apprentice many years ago he actually made a temporary cover when it was raining ,and made us cut all our halfs and load up as well.
genuine question, why with flat blocks are you and others I've watched stacking two on top of each other then half bond? I've always gone back and forth, alternating every course. What am I missing?
Eh up... just a wonderin'... is there a technical reason for doubling up on the flat block wall? is it stronger or quicker that way I mean? Just that the straight nicks draw my eye every time lol! I've always just half bonded them like bricks 🙂
Some times you have to do it like that to keep bond with a single skin wall to keep bond otherwise every course of flat is alternating the bond to the single skin. If that makes any sense😆
Been off for a while and travelled to far to just turn back without doing anything, plus I don't like being a wet lettuce, ground workers were put so am i

Speed is quicker
Don’t take this the wrong way, you only get paid for mortar between the blocks/bricks
Not what’s loaded out
