Hi
Just want to share some info that can hopefully help you. My period was regular for years then went to every other month and extremely heavy. Like a super+ and pad every hour. This went on for a while. Turns out I had a 13x12 cm ovarian cyst on my left ovary and had a small one on my right. I didn’t even know till I ended up in the ER when I was 20. Long story short. I only have my right ovary now. Just be aware that your period can tell you if you have any issues with your hormones/reproductive health. Make sure to get checked out regularly. God bless
i’m so blessed to have a short period but the timing issues are still so real i have a 3 week camping time and my period is supposed to come on the very first day
I have a 10 day period every now and then. It's not monthly, thank god, but i have a fibroid, and every now and then, it causes me to have an extremely painful period or long period.
My goodness! That’s a long time!
Been there. I used to have very long periods, the longest I remember lasted for one month! And to make things worse sometimes I used to get like 3 -4 periods in 2 months.
Consulted many gynaecologists and turns out it was due to my severe anaemia paired with early stage PCOS.
When you’re anaemic your uterine muscles tend to become weaker and cannot bring an end to the periods as it cannot stop blood from flowing. And more bleeding makes you even more anaemic 😢
Yep!! Been there. Longest period was 22 days.
WOW
I would cry so hard if mine lasted that long 😭
My last period was 16 days long!!🥺
I have been kind of having a similar thing; though this is starting to periods again after giving birth, so my body is figuring out how to do a normal period again. If this is abnormal for you, def check with your doctor. I hope everything is okay!
Omg! I had a period for 11 days! It’s usually like 7😭
My period also lasts 7 days but it lasted quite days IDK why 😭😭
i got my first a few days ago and i’m on day three but im literally just spotting like i did swim a lot but i barley bled like at all is that normal? 😭
yeah I feel u girl
I wish I was as comfortable to go to an obgyn as you are 😞
I’m on day 6 😭😭
ILYSMMMMMMMM!❤
also when i first stared my period abt a year ago it came then didn’t stop for almost 2 months
it sucked
I was on mine for 35 days at one point.. hopefully it gets better.. if your really tired after there's a chance of low iron and you'd need to get medicine
Mines still going and it's been over 100 days...🫠 Turns out it was a cyst and I also have low iron and my period is bad for me so I get birth control pills now 😢
@@Nana-669hmg100 days?! how did that go for you?
PERIODS FUCKING SUCCKKKKKKKK MY CRAMPSSSSD ARE KILLIN MEEEEE
i have like a 7 day period but it just started being on track and coming normally because i just got it almost exactly a year ago (i’m 12 right now)
For you it seems like heaven because you always are excited to get one but i didnt get mine yet but with discharge already it would seem like a pain
Edit: I watched the rest of the vid and for that time that would be so annoying
I might only have 5 day periods but I started when I was ten so have had it way longer than most people my age and I’ve never missed a period. So, if you think I’m lucky think again.
I get my period for like 9 or 12 days
Do you have any tips for being on your period on vacation? I think im getting mine on my beach vacation to france and thats never happened to me before..
Certainly! Here are some tips for managing your period during a beach vacation:
1. Pack plenty of supplies: Make sure to pack an ample supply of tampons, pads, or menstrual cups to last you through the duration of your trip.
2. Plan ahead: Keep track of your cycle and try to anticipate when your period might start so that you can be prepared with necessary supplies.
3. Wear comfortable swimwear: Opt for dark-colored swimsuits and consider wearing board shorts or a sarong as an extra layer if it makes you feel more comfortable.
4. Stay hydrated: Drinking plenty of water can help alleviate bloating and discomfort associated with menstruation.
5. Take breaks as needed: If cramps become uncomfortable, take breaks in the shade or relax on a beach towel until they subside.
6. Consider pain relief options: Over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen may help manage menstrual cramps while allowing you to enjoy activities during your vacation.
Remember that periods are natural and nothing to be ashamed about - many people navigate them successfully while enjoying their vacations!
My first period was 12 days and I've had that my entire time menstruating
Jesus loves you! I’m praying your period will end soon!
I'm under 13 so like yeah and I got my period at 9 is it normal to get your period longer or less than7 days?
Random but is it normal to pass out or throw up from cramps?
Hi u r so cuet and beautiful❤
I have a 30 day period so I bleed for a month and stop 1-3 weeks
You’re honestly kinda lucky in my opinion
Iodine deficiency...and low progesterone..can cause a lot of issues . ...
How?
My first period lasted 2 weeks💀
Is it normal to have a period for 10 days at a young age. I’m not saying my age online but I am over the age of 12.
No. A period should be 3-5 days. Also excessive pain isn't normal, although people say it is, because they've been taught it's normal.
@@rebn8346 should I tell my mom?
Periods are different for everyone. Some do last from around 2 days but some can last 7+. If it's worrying you, you could get it checked out♡
@@Meh23549 thank you.
Please don’t wear tampons for that long. It is definitely bad for you.
it’s not bad if u change it every 8 hours
