I've shot in all sorts of conditions ranging from torrential rain, -25 degree days right after blizzards and once right as a big snow storm was starting to hit, 100 degree days, thunderstorms, etc. If you go shooting in the rain keep in mind paper targets will get ruined fairly quickly and if you use steel targets that use boards for the stands they could swell and maybe the target could rust but I haven't actually had that happen. The other thing I'd suggest being mindful of is lightning. Your rifle is steel and aluminum so its basically a lightning rod. I would suggest avoiding thunderstorms. The only time I've shot in storms was by accident. The weather where I live is damn near unpredictable and sometimes storms just blow in.
Windy days in sub zero temps are really fun to shoot in but it really, really sucks being outside in that kind of weather.

Yeah totally agree. Winters I sit in the rain and summers I do sit off night shooting. And I’m glad I started doing that. I’ve noticed some condensation inside one of my scores last winter.

Lived in west Texas we was hunting and out of no where we get 8 inches of rain in 1 hour so on this farm is all flat no trees nothing we also had some targets out it was also 10pm and it looked like daytime bc the lightning when it stopped for a sec which only happened a few times pitch black but I was hitting the steal targets like nothing I’m surprised we didn’t get hit we also could only see 50ft infront of us but cleaning my guns was a pain

That's one of my caveats, I hate the heat with a passion. So my shooting pretty much stops in the summer time as it gets to be in the hundreds here for weeks on end. Thankfully our summers usually only last a few months and don't start till July so that usually allows me ample time to shoot. I've repeatedly gone out and shot int he dead middle of winter when it's been single digits just to test myself.

Not really. But every place has AC so it’s not bad if you have to go places

Clicked straight away. Any tips for an English man who’s wanting to move to America and own guns ?

Move to a gun friendly state. There are still lots of places in America that are anti gun

@@mudgunner well I’m joining the Royal Marines in December. Doing time there then going to America after. Which states have the best gun laws for foreigners ?
