Ignore the hate! You’re amazing! Don’t worry about imperfections or ideal lighting, background noise, etc. Viewers don’t really notice these things-we enjoy your content, creativity and helpful tips. I want to tell you that I think it so amazing that you have this shared experience with your parents. The quality time together will be moments you will cherish forever. I also appreciate that you give credit to your parents help--a lot of creators pretend to do it all.

What? They're mocking time spent with your parents?!
They're just jealous because your parents aren't brother and sister.
Enjoy all time you spend with them, time is fleeting. Cherish those moments ❤️

18:14 Wha??? I think you have great camera presence and are super relatable. There's something so sincere when a channel isn't overly produced and polished.
Just be you, Andrew -- that's why we like you.

Andrew, please try to stay true to yourself, don’t change because of some hyper critical ppl. You are such a dynamo of creativity and your quirks make you unique. If ppl want to go watch a certain type of UA-camr then that is what they should do. I watch every video and watched all your old content (came for that, stayed). I imagine how you talk to your camera is how you talk to your friends and that’s fine with me.

As an eye rolling freak of nature myself, I feel eminently qualified to tell those anonymous keyboard warriors to take a hike! I assumed it was a bit of a process to produce these videos, but I now realize it's a lot more complicated and frustrating than I imagined, so my appreciation for your efforts has grown exponentially. You are so generous to share your life with us, especially since you could undoubtedly make better progress without having to film, script, and edit a project. To say nothing of weathering spiteful criticism on irrelevant and minor details from some ignoramous drooling Cheetos on their phone while they're holed up in their mom's basement. You do a fantastic job and the vast majority of us are awestruck by your talents in more areas than I can list and pea green with envy over your relationship with your parents. BTW, the angle of the shot where you were putting the basket on top of the wardrobe showed the door covering better than I've ever seen it. Love to Queenie.

What the heck?! What is wrong with people? Sad, negative, envious people who don’t have the talent and abilities that you have. Please don’t take those comments to heart, you are an amazing creator and I look forward to your videos every week!!!!

I loved this video. I guess I came here from the kitchen reno but I stayed because I recognize you are so talented and humble and real. I’m sorry people feel emboldened to be critical of someone on you tube. I hope us ‘regulars’ outnumber those mean people ❤ and I just want to say thanks for what you do and you are amazing!!!

I think the eye rolling and looking off camera is endearing. It makes you appear more human, and is one of the things I like about your videos. I prefer your style to a more polished video. You are more artistic and creative than most of the other creators that I follow. Keep doing what you do, and ignore the haters!

Thank you for this outstanding video. I wish that those who leave negative comments would have chosen to just scroll by. You do such a great job with your home and your videos and I appreciate you so much. This is a wonderful video and I appreciated seeing some behind-the-scenes action. That your parents are doing so much work on your home says so much that’s wonderful about them and that in return says so much that’s wonderful about you.

Andrew, you’re putting yourself out there and it gives the rest of us homeowners something to aspire to or get ideas from. I appreciate your contribution to the world. I am a proponent of recycle/repurpose/reuse and so I love to see you put this in action. Take feedback as needed.
Currently, I am turning an old frame with broken glass into a white/dry erase board. I love the framed white board in your studio which inspired this project.

You have NOTHING to apologize for or explain! Your talents and sense of style and design blow me away, and anyone who would criticize you for something as ridiculous as rolling your eyes too much is not worth the time of day. It is people like that who would never be brave enough nor do they have the talent or skills necessary to do what you do...don't let the geeks keep you down. Keep up the excellent work! PS: Can I rent your parents?

LOVE this video! Something you must know is that we all started watching these videos because of the DIY content, but then we grow fonder and fonder of you - as a person, not just a content creator - with every video, and Queenie is a true star! So....when you do these behind-the-scenes type of videos, it's very special because you're bringing us into your everyday life. We get to see a more casual, human side of you (with the funny edits and bloopers), like friends do with each other. Again, LOVE this. BTW, my favorite shots of your handsome face are when you are walking away from a store and you're holding the camera right in front of you. Love the swagger in those shots!

I come to see you videos just to hang out for a few and see what your creative mind has been up to for the past week. It's easy to say "Ignore the negativity" but not always easy to do so. I reframe it as the people who send out unconstructive criticism have issues. You've been in cities where people yell into the abyss and poop on the sidewalk. Well, those people are allowed to make comments on You Tube as well. As long as you acknowledge them it will feed into their problem and they don't get better. Be kind enough to them to ignore it. I like when you talk to the camera and you eyes move back and forth. It looks like you are thinking and it's definitely charming. Don't let the lemmings drag you down to being average. You're aura is not beige!

Thanks for sharing this process with us Andrew. ❤ Re: criticism and self doubt: if you present yourself in an authentic way, instead of people pleasing and providing generic content, you're not going to be for everyone. But those of us who get you absolutely love what you do. Appreciate you putting your home, your creative process and your life out there. As someone who has recently lost their last parent I can really appreciate (and so glad you) the quality time you share with your mum and dad. It's lovely.

Videos such as this one, give you such a human authenticity, an appeal that many UA-camrs do not achieve. May I suggest that you strongly consider in the future to do more of these "this your life" vlogs as you are most likely to become a dynamic influencer to monetize them in many ways - possibly paying your bills with them. Definitely a positive to spend downtime with special person and Atlantic has much to offer. Do you suppose you will ever return to a handlebar mustaches? Very cool, in my opinion.

I love all of your content! I think today, you revealed the importance of taking time to recharge and prioritize family, friends, health and just... meandering. Doing the things you love, I agree, do become tasks or chores if you forget to pay attention to the other parts of your existence that you value. You are a true renaissance dude! Seeing Queenie and your/family's interaction gets me excited for the greyhound I'm adopting at the end of the month - Sal passed last July and it's been not the best balance to focus on work (which I generally love), without having a canine family member to care for and to share my life at home with. The footage of you and your dad sanding a door inspires me to do the same with my front door. I love your inspiration regarding resourcefulness.

You did great, Andrew ! Others already said most of what I wanted to say and I agree: you don't make me feel uncomfortable at all! Be yourself, with your authentic facial expressions. You come across exactly as you are: a charming young man, a real down to earth person who just happened to be born talented, with a great eye for style and design. A true artist is never completely sure of themselves, or cocky ! You know who usually is? A Narcissist! And they don't create, only copy. Or blag their way through while controlling others through digs and little criticisms. That's not what cool people do!
But many genuine Artists and Creatives over many centuries (who we now know and celebrate) were humble, sensitive souls that questioned themselves. Yet they were amazing! Just like you!
The very fact that some comments make you question yourself shows how humble and pure hearted you are. Never change for anybody as in "acting a certain way in front of the camera".
You actually come across professional and very likeable. Seems like some people couldn't fault your interior design skills which are formidable and tried to raise themselves up by putting you down. So sad!
But it only means that you're on the up and up! And I'm sure we will be seeing your talent develop and blossom in front of our very eyes as time goes by.
Your filming skills are excellent now, by the way! I appreciate how you show us end results properly and linger on great design "the After" so we can absorb it all.
Have you been interviewed for a lifestyle magazine yet? You have interesting insights, not only interior design ideas. I think you're an excellent role model for a younger generation.
My former ballet dancer son is also talented (in music, not design) and I'd do anything to help him in any way. So I can appreciate the love and bond you have with your parents.
It's such a positive experience to watch your videos, seeing you all working as a team. I feel kindness and positivity through the screen haha
    Rooting for you, young man!
Wishing you health, wealth and happiness, always.
    Your biggest British fan 😊

And I wish if they were the latter, they would just say nothing, and move on, don't watch if you don't like. Almost everyone whose channel goes through growth through the tens of thousands of viewers suddenly gets that wave of unhelpful/hateful/trolling comments, and eventually, I think every creator learns to just filter in their own heads (or just skip reading) comments that don't work in a constructive way. Your videos have been a really big inspiration to me, especially in embracing my own style and fitting more thrifted pieces into my house, and I've been here since your channel was quite small, so ... don't sweat the people who don't get you!

Wow, Andrew, your home is stunning. You truly have put the best amount of thought and intuition into each room.
Thank you for sharing this BTS vlog-style. I have a much deeper respect for all the UA-camrs I see because of you. It’s one thing to capture all the video content, but putting the pieces together for a single “bedroom” or “thrifting” video requires sooooo much editing and storytelling. You should be really proud of all the content you’ve put together. Yes, there’s always wishing that a project could have been better, but the fact that you actually make these amazing designs AND film them for others puts you in a whole league of your own.
Truly so, so glad to find your channel.

Thanks for showing behind the camera. My tiny six videos took so much time to make and they are nothing compared to yours. I think people are under the impression it takes the length of the video to do. When I have been asked to make more content I always respond "For each one you see there was 5 you didn't." It's got to be so satisfying seeing the house progress and these videos will be great to look back on as a diary to the beautiful transformation. Of course, any video will have critics so take what is helpful and discard the rest.
Queenie reminds me so much of a dog I had that was a border collie/cocker spaniel mix. She lived to be 18 (!) 😢♥

Andrew, you have always produced great, honest, authentic content which we enjoy so much. I too struggle with what people think and can't imagine putting myself out there for all the world to critique. Your vulnerability is your superpower, don't ever change. Keep on being you and love seeing your parents with you and MORE Qweenie! Love!

Your channel is one of my favs bc you are so creative and unique. Love your vintage touches mixed in with your artistry.. Please ignore the negativity.. comments that lend a positive recommendation are great and I know can help in a lot of projects but the criticism about you eyes etc.. are shit and ridiculous. You are a creative and some people can have harmful intentions due to jealousy and just bad intentions. I always tell myself I can't control what others say and do but I can control the power I allow it to have over me.. Keep being your authentic self and we will all continue watching and supporting you... ❤❤❤

I wholly agree that by following your Passions, the sweat equity usually increases. That being said, the gratification levels also blossom. And, in my world, a little gratification goes a long way in nourishing a person's dreams....like emotional fertilizer! LOL It sounds like your Granny was a cool lady. Especially if that is an original Arne Jacobsen 'egg' chair and ottoman. Wowza. Happy Pride Andrew.

I just discovered your videos and I'm really enjoying them. You're sparking my creative side! I'm sorry that you're getting the negative comments. I know that it's practically impossible to ignore them. It seems like ALL the UA-camrs occasionally vent about the negative comments, so know that you're in good company:) Give Queenie a hug for me--she's darling.

Loved, loved, loved this video! I always loved how your creative mind works, but this gave us an insight on how you manifest it in your daily living. Also, this helps people to see all the hard work you put into the whole process. Sometimes people don’t see how much time, effort and vulnerability goes into making the videos for us. Please know that I appreciate them more than you can imagine! Coming home after a mundane workday, it is really refreshing to watch and learn from you! Keep it up! 🫶🏻

Oh Andrew, I loved this behind the scenes vid. You are such a good video host; engaging, informative, handsome (what happened to that gorgeous luxurious mo you had!) honest and vital. You hid nothing. You share with your viewers exactly how you feel and what you plan to do. Maybe every now and again you can do a behind the scenes vid after a reveal to show the reality of what goes on.
As for your parents they are superstars. There’s no way I’d have had their support or assistance from my parents in renovating a place I bought. It would be a case of ‘you bought it, you make it habitable and then we’ll visit you!’. Sadly that’s been the story of my life, me vs the world until I met my partner Marcus. Glad you have found some one someone special and while I’ve not caught up on all the vids I’ve missed since I was unwell, I hope we get to meet him at some stage
You are an inspiration and I look forward to catching up on your vids.
Best wishes as always, even when I wasn’t watching, from Neil in Australia! 🇦🇺

I love what you do and I just discovered that you are also a dancer!(from the video in Chicago) which that explains how you are so fit, but how do you have time to do all you do? I also love that your family helps you. I love when families support each other. Last I just love your style and your fearlessness in diving in and doing a project. Keep up the good work!
