I programmed the tv, receiver and cable box to the system on/off button. It turns everything off perfectly, but when turning on, my yamaha receiver will click on then immediately turn back off. Any idea why this is happening?

Do you know how to get a Samsung SoundStand to work with the Brighthouse universal remote? I have the UR5U-8780L remote. I can get it to work with other remotes (Galaxy S5 with app and IR), but can't find the code for Brighthouse remote anywhere.

Thanks, but that didn't work. I ended up purchasing a ONE FOR ALL remote from Best Buy and it solved my problem. It works with all components.

I don't know why I never thought of looking for this before. I HATE the System On/Off button because whenever it gets pressed accidentally, it turns off everything I want on, and turns on everything I want off. So happy to be able to program it to my VCR, meaning it now does nothing.

My Brighthouse remotes goes to channel 13 when it is powered up. How can we change it so it will go to another channel, and not Brighthouse?

My Yamaha receiver wants to turn on, then off immediately when I hit system ON. All of the other components turn on in the correct order & stay on. The system OFF works fine for all components, including the Yamaha. Any ideas for a work around?

Ok, my dynex is stuck in the wrong input and the buttons on the actual tv are broken. When I hit TV then video source, it brings up the input menu but just stays stuck in vga. volume just adjusts the volume and channel does nothing. Pressing video source again simply makes the input menu disappear and it stays in VGA. Help!!

They purposefully make the remote extraordinarily hard to setup. Why can't you just make it recognize the tv automatically? We pay 1000s per year and the cable company can't even make a working remote.

Hello um i am having problems with changing channels on my cable box i press the guide button and the little guide box wont come then i try turning off my cable box with power button and wont work it wont let me change the channels remotely i have to change them manually on the cable box so umm can u help me out here

Jose Sanchez push cbl and rec button for 6 seconds....that will reset the remote to factory settings.....you will be able to change channels from twc remote then.u may need to program volume button on twc remote later on

can someone please tell me why when I press buttons on this remote it changes my tv channel!!!!!! I press guide it changes tv channel press volume up it changes the tv channel. Its piece of crap!!! I had to tape a piece of paper over my tv sensor to keep it from changing channel on the tv!
